Chelsea congrats! :T:j:beer: (obviously the glasses have orange juice in them!)
Thats a bargain for the scan too! So happy for you! Xxx0 -
I've finally been able to sit down and start working on a crochet TARDIS for a customer in America tonight. Worked on it for about half an hour and now my right hand is burning! I can definitely tell that I haven't crocheted in quite a few months.
DH bought me two pairs of leggings and new pj bottoms yesterday! Whee! My first pair of leggings, and I am in love with them. Bought two sizes bigger than I needed for stretching, since they aren't maternity.
I'm 14+1 based on my scan (13+4 by my dates) and I definitely have a bump starting. I've started using the sample of the Mum & Me bump cream that was in my second bounty pack (the one I received at my scan) and I am loving it! Figured I'd try the sample to make sure I wasn't allergic to it before I bought any.
If anyone knows how to make hips stop hurting as badly as mine do, please let me know. My left hip feels like someone has a knife in the hip socket and every time I move it hurts horribly. I've been walking a ton over the past 3-4 days, so that's probably made it worse. I've been trying to stretch the muscles in the back of my thighs to see if that helps, but it's getting difficult to do it properly with the belly!
I hope everyone has a good night tonight. DH let me have a bit of Dr Pepper, so I'm buzzed. Teehee!0 -

I was thinking about getting a private scan but with less than 4 weeks now until my 20 week scan it probably won't be worth it especially seeing as they probably wouldn't be able to fit us in before Christmas.
What was the company you had yours with? That's really cheap x
I went to http://www.womenscanclinic.com/ x0 -
Just need a little moan...I'm sooooo tired, a tummy bug has been working its way through my house this week, I thought DS had escaped until 2am today when he woke up being sick and has been sick every 20 mins ish since, not that there's much left in there!
Before I had children I never really thought about how I would cope being Ill myself and looking after poorly children at the same time. I think I just always imagined I would be fine and it's only the kids who would ever get ill! Don't know why!
Hope it clears up for us all by tomorrow as we are heading off to the hotel for the wedding on Friday!
Hope everyone else is feeling well!0 -
