My first unhappy buyer.

So she wants to open a dispute because i cant pay for her postage cost. What now?0

If she objects strongly enough, then even if you offer the 'refund on return' she could still escalate it. This would then leave a black mark on your account, I would guess at your volume, that two would be too many.
The best bet is to click the refund on return option as soon as she opens the case.0 -
So should i just tell her to go ahead and open the case, and maybe even try fighting it? As i feel she has just changed her mind.0

Btw she paid directly thru paypal invoice as i sent her a new pruce due to free postage. Will this affect anything?!?0

Firstly you fight it you will probably lose, it is difficult to say for sure, but eBay mostly rule in favour of the buyer when there is any doubt.
If the case is ruled against you, then her feedback can stay, her DSR can stay and you will get a mark on your dashboard. Two will be enough to get you suspended I suspect.
Or you can avoid this and accept the return.
Legally you should be accepting the return, so I hope she isn't reading this or is wise enough to contact HMRC about your unlawful trading....0 -

You can't fight it. Ebay will side with the buyer. You can do two things; either offer a full refund including return postage or you can let her open a case and tell her to send the item back for a refund and hope that she does that and doesn't escalate the case or give negative feedback.Btw she paid directly thru paypal invoice as i sent her a new pruce due to free postage. If she paid for goods, then no.
But you are looking for ways to get out of your moral and legal requirements.
I have given all the help I am willing as you seem set on finding out the best way to avoid doing what you should. Good luck.0 -
Returning is not the issue here. Its return postage cost.0

Yes this is very frustrating. Thanx for your help. Think i will stop trading and give the remaining 3 phones back, as i havnt paid for em yet. Hopefully my friend will understand. He did warn me about ebay but i didnt think it would be this bad.0
