Just put Tooting into the search and then scroll down the versions until you get to 1985 and click on the predominately brown coloured thumbnail map.
Perhaps they were hoping Maggie could offer some tips on how to win a war in Afghanistan ?
That was some time before Maggie. 1968 to be precise.
The old maps look good. I will return to them later. Thanks.0 -

Poo smearing is a classic autistic behaviour. Twin1 (mild ASD) does it all the time, much to my disgust I have to clean poo off the sink, bin and wall on a regular basis!
Is that true? I haven't read the entire thread but I hadn't ever heard of another case of this before.
During he 80's my sister was PA to the top guy at an investment bank in the city and they had a mystery poo smearer in the female loos. It would happen randomly every few weeks. Sometimes there would be longer gaps, other times, several 'smears' in one month.
My sis was in charge of trying to find out who it was.
Eventually, they installed some type of cctv and it turned out to be one of the top investment bankers. Highly intelligent, very stressful job and so on.
I am trying to remember the outcome but I think she was referred to the company doctor and had some time off. I'll ask sis next time I see her if she ever returned to work.0 -
Not an email but on the subject of inappropriate poo... my hubby works for a large supermarket chain, doing the night shift. He came home one morning and told me, complete with pictures, that someone had poo'd on the pop aisle, and had kicked it under the shelving.
There was talk that there had been a funny smell on there for a few days but they thought it was the air con.... shows how well the cleaners cleaned, especially when there was a brown mark on the floor where it had been kicked lol

The above post is a new entry on my chart of 'things I wish I hadn't read'
It's in at number two.
Maybe a contender for number one, if the culprit had simply misread the name of the aisle?
Nah! In that case it would be number one on my 'Pedants - you couldn't make it up' chart :rotfl::T0 -

Snap, very similar just this week, a friend posted on Fb also complete with pictures. A photo of the bike aisle where someone had done their business right in middle of aisle, but NOT bothered to kick under shelving!!! Btw this was day shift too.0 -
We were sitting around at work one morning, having a chat about toilets, as you do.
One of our colleagues said that in her family, they call *ahem* number twos "toilet paper jobs" because that's when they use toilet paper.
Which led us to assume that she doesn't use toilet paper at *other* times!:eek::eek:
What is really annoying is that she comes all the way down to our office to use our toilet because it is always nice and clean. It certainly is now, we have a huge pack of antiseptic wipes to clean it with after she has been in there! Bleugh _pale_"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -

Does she have boys? Maybe it's a generic family "we" that doesn't necessarily apply to absolutely everyone (but is easier to say if it's a male majority in the household)0 -

I can never decide which is worse. A wet seat or a warm seat0
