Just a thought, but if the person whose butter had crumbs in it was a Coeliac, this could make them seriously ill.
    Hope is not a strategy.

BTW I opened this thread expecting a Last Tango in Paris type story.

I saw this thread and had to add something to it.

This morning I received an email telling me that the sender couldn't send emails.

Gosh - ours in mild by comparison to most of these! A sign went up in the newly refurbed ladies loo "please do not stand on the toilet seats!". Was totally confused until I found out several ladies had been caught standing on the seats (causing them to break) so they could look in the mirror on the wall above the sinks :p

We had a female client come to our office, who used our toilet. My friend popped in there straight after and called me in to show me that the toilet seat was UP and there were black marks on each side of the rim - heel marks. We mentioned this to my boss (he's Chinese) and he explained that our Chinese lady guest had most likely climbed up on to the toilet to squat, rather than use the seat. Apparently this is normal practice. What impressed me was that she did it wearing 4 inch heels!

We quite regularly have emails going round to remind us to wash up cups / plates / cutlery that we have used. Some people still seem to believe in the kitchen fairy...

I used to work for a company that was taken over by a large American firm. Wanting to impose their own dress code, they sent round a memo (pre-email days) stating "Ladies should not wear pants to work."

To all of you who've had poop smearers. Did any of you happen to work with this bloke? http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=6c1_1381171219 if you did then it might answer your questions.
  • Whilst not tecnically in the workplace, but on the subject of people not having any public shame...my mum was commuting to work once on a train sat opposite a man with a cold. The man proceeded to his nose into his bare hands...and then wipe the bulk off onto his jacket and then suck his fingers clean. My mum had a go at him and told him off for being dirty!

Quite frankly that still makes me ill visualising it. SO I hope you all enjoy this imagery now!

My OH works in IT support for the Foreign Office, this sort of thing is quite common, even from surprisingly high levels...
Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.
