They have the Elizabeth Arden set in my local store, but it's £22, why is the on line price less? Or maybe it's because it's not available on line?

Is the £22 still a good buy?
  • not the same one i know but i got this as a little stocking filler for my mum, brought it in store as well.

I have been constantly getting the child image/error message for weeks, particularly when Boots have an offer on say Triple Points etc. Google Chrome browser works a bit better but generally it is just Boots site not being able to cope with demand as usual I think

I get the exact same thing every time I click on view basket! It's been like it since last Friday!! I've tried on different devices and its still the same.
I wrote boots an email yesterday but no response as of yet.
SO annoying as there are things that I wanted to purchase! :(

I am glad it's not just me! Every time I logged on as myself either the devil child pops up or Boots played with my feelings and tagged me along to the payment page before saying it was out of stock.

I think this is a sign not to spend any money on things I really don't need! (and money I really can't spare).

    Hahahaa! The devil child! :rotfl:
I probably have spent too much on boots recently, but unfortunately there is still more I was hoping to stock up on during the extra points season.
Ive tried so many times each day since Friday and I've never managed to get to the payment page! My basket balance seems to be going up so it must be adding things to the basket, just not letting me access it.
When I emailed it popped up saying I would receive a response within 3 days. I'll let you know if I do get a response! :)

The child is almost as annoying as the orange couple canoodling who I had the joy of watching a few years ago when the Soap and Glory set first went on offer for £20. I think I spent an entire night watching those two, constantly pressing 'refresh'.

Is it working for you now?
I had an email last night apologising and they have cleared my basket for me, which now means it works!! :)
If anyone is still having the same problem I'd recommend emailing boots so they can resolve it for you :)

Also, does anyone know if there will be anymore points events? For some reason I was expecting one this week. I always thought the last one was at the start of December?

The 8 Hour cream is now out of stock permanently, boo. I also really wanted the Benefit Finding Mr Bright which is also out of stock, I found it yesterday in Harvey Nichols of all places reduced to £19! So yay for that.

    I would say so. I paid £36 in Debenhams ( it was £40 -10% )
