Thierry Mugler perfumes on offer by the looks of it- alien and angel, should be £60 each on offer for £35 each.
Bit peeved as bought the gift set last week thinking that was a good offer at £49.50 with the bonus points. Suppose it's still a good deal, but I'd have been happy with just the fragrance as I forget to use the other bits!
It is a higher quality perfume so not one that is normally discounted.0 -
Does anyone else have the Boots Beauty Advent Calendar? If so what do you think? First 3 days were great and was really impressed but the last 3 days have been little samples like the sort of thing you would usually get free with an order! I hope it's going to get better otherwise it was a bit of a rip off!
If you google it you can see the contents of the boots advent calendar.0 -

If you bought it one with the £12 bonus points, then you are £2.50 out of pocket (plus any points awarded for £35)?
Might not be as bad as you think0 -
Could be, but in our stock room on Sunday we had Angel and Alien with SELs saying on offer from 6-12th Dec. I think they are 35ml refillable bottles. Can't remember the price - we were sooooo busy!
You are correct! The assistant manager thought it was Angel and Alien, we searched for half an hour through our delivery and couldn't find anything.
They've not even sent us any, all we have are the testers to let people have a smell and then if they want it we have to order through Boots.com, only problem is... Most people want Alien as it's the nicer of the two, and it's ALREADY out of stock online.
Been such a pain having to repeatedly tell customers that we have ran out, so many disappointed peopleIncluding myself! I was planning on having some ordered for myself during my lunch. No I'm going to have to make a journey to one of the much larger shopping park stores to see if they have some in stock.
I've noticed quite a lot of problems with various customers Boots.com orders today and can't help thinking that some serious errors are being made at Boots end, not quite sure what's going on! Christmas time is making everything go a bit crazy!
We've sold A LOT of the Ted Baker vanity cases today, we will definitely have sold out by next week as will probably quite a few stores, so if you're thinking about getting the Ted Baker Star Gift, get it ASAP!Boots Employee, Advantage Points Hoarder & General Savvy Shopper :T

Thank you for ordering from Boots.com.
Unfortunately we are unable to supply your Boots.com order detailed below for one of the following reasons:
1. We had a technical issue
2. There was insufficient stock to meet your order
I didn't exactly order the item at a misprice, but now cannot reorder as out of stock. Are they not obliged to provide me with it at that price when it is back in stock?
I doubt very much that they will be having any more in stock, we sold out of those at my store days before the offer ended, I had a few different customers still coming in asking for it today and had to tell them the offer finished and that we'd sold out as well.
That's pretty awful as it's beyond annoying to have ordered something, received confirmation and THEN be told it's no longer available.
Unfortunately, I think it's just a case of bad luck and not much you're going to be able to do about it. SorryBoots Employee, Advantage Points Hoarder & General Savvy Shopper :T

Anyone else been really disappointed with the star gifts this year? Also when Boots did have some decent offers on over the weekend (i.e 33% off Champney sets) the site was constantly going down and they didn't have even nearly enough stock to meet demand as everything was oos Friday AM and offer was supposed to run through until Mon!
I agree! The star gifts have been nowhere near as good as the past years ones. The sets used to be much better, with better bags/cases/boxes and better products in.
It's been a bit of an anti-climax most weeks compared to past years.
And the websites many errors has been constantly frustrating recently too!Boots Employee, Advantage Points Hoarder & General Savvy Shopper :T

I know it is still a good deal, especially as it had the other bits too. It's just a surprise to see the offer on the perfume. Anyway OH will actually end up paying for it for me for Xmas so shouldn't moan! And perhaps I may have to buy a bottle of angel too with the points .......:j0 -
YES! So glad that there's a No7 set! I'm getting it for two people
Friday 20th for that one? Or are they doing it Weds to Weds due to Xmas being the following Weds?
It's definitely the 18th and will probably continue after Christmas, they did this last year because the s&g sets don't normally stick around very long0
