He has died as my vet has chosen to ignore his blood result with critically low platelet count (putting it down to machine error) and carried on with surgery

how do you know this was not the case

best way to post is after scanning goto http://postimg.org/ and then on here use the postimg url to post it on the forum as an image

You offered to post the reply , then asked how you could do it as copy/paste would not work.

So i replied with the solution to add scanned images

Did your research not uncover the Animal Welfare Act 2006?

I have not read it in detail, but it certainly goes some way towards meeting your criticism...

The law that originated back in medieval times is still with us in the 21st century and we have to abide by it.

yes I did. It was DEFRA that pointed me to it. I will try to get their letter on here somehow.

but unless you were in the operating theatre then you would not know if the machine did fail. you seem to be taking what you were told on Just Answer over what the RCVS are saying and investigated.
