Downloaded the manual but it never helps.
At the moment we are trying to remove some apps, tried dragging to bin, no joy. So the manual states
From the Home screen, tap > Market > My apps. Tap the app you want to uninstall, and then tap Uninstall. When asked, tap OK. Choose the reason for removing the app, and then tap OK.
BUT where is "Uninstall"
The other thing we want to do is see pics sent on the phone but we have never managed to do this! Several friends have tried but no joy, it is so frustrating and HTC never reply to our emails!

Sorry but I know what SHOULD happen BUT the = when tapped just vibrates, nothing happens, if I hold it the keyboard appears!!!!!!!!!!
As for the pics I say again neither of the phone shops I asked for help from could find the pics either!
So are we all useless????0 -
So how far are you getting with the steps and what are you seeing on screen? When you say the '=' button when tapped just vibrates, is that when you've opened the Play store? Or is that from the home screen? Can you get into settings at all?

I used to have a Wildfire S. I can't remember exactly the steps, but uninstalling apps was easier than falling off a log.
Any app that asks for a password sounds dodgy to me. I'm guessing it's malware and has hooked itself into the OS to stop you from removing it. What app is it, and where did you get it from?0 -
Is it not possible to walk into the shop you bought it from and ask, surely that is one reason you buy from a shop0

Goto the play store and select my apps and then uninstall it.
If it requires a password that you dont have then ask the person that installed it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
HTC one V here. Just gave my wildfire to my sis to try it. Here you would go into settings > apps> downloaded> click the app> click uninstall.

Go to the home screen (press the little house key) then press the 4bar key and select settings. Then find applications , and press manage applications, and then select downloads, then tap the app and select uninstall (if it just says uninstall updates then you can't delete it all). No need to go to play store at all.4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . I had a problem downloading mms on my android phone. It was because I was trying to download them while wifi was switched on and mms message needs to be downloaded via your data. If you have wifi switched on, turn it off, make sure data is enabled, then try to download the photo. It worked for me but I dont have a HTC I have a Huawei ascend. Hope this helps.0
