I imagine the same principle would work with a woollen garment.

The sharpie pens look perfect but I can't see a grey colour only black?
  • Is it affecting your Marriage, Relationships & Families? :rotfl:

Not in the least helpful I know, but there must be a more appropriate forum!

Why does it matter? It's not like she wasn't getting any replies here!

You could say that about more than one thread.

Havent seen that theres an oh !!!! I got bleach on my cardie forum, someone posted the other day about getting tie dye on their hands and no one bothered.
  • Gosh, that is beautiful, I need to sit on my hands now to not buy one of the fairisle ones....

Soak the garment in vinegar solution to neutralise the bleach, else it'll gradually decay.

Then buy some of these. Make a feature of the stain. No-one else will have a jumper like yours :D
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

    Not reversible :(

Will have a look at Dylan. Have stuck it in the washing machine for now hoping its just a bad dream and it'll come out fine.

Hi the linky you gave states the gilet as cotton, which will be fine with dylon in a 40degree wash. Would you mind if you were to dye it all over in black? I got dylon from wilko's the other day and got great results on a pair of trousers, the only thing to make sure is that the clothes to be dyed are washed and no fabric conditioner etc on them.
  • I second before you do anything taking photos and writing to the manufacturer explaining your mistake and that is new (copy of receipt if you can). Ask for their advise what product they recommend you can use to rectify it, you never know they might be helpful. Its certainly worth a try.

lovey top btw - I want one now.
