    Hi Nargle,

Ok, sensible sad git :rotfl:.....been doing for this for about 30years:eek:and long before I needed to think about NSD...sometimes if I root about at the back of the freezer I find a sarnie loitering about unloved. Find that ham doesn't keep as well as corned beef, so try to make sure I use up what is in there before adding to it:D

Well done everyone for NSDs over the weekend.
Thanks Freeby for updating, sounds like work is keeping you busy.
Think I have seen If and Spoony pop up on the newbies trolls thread.

I remember my friends mum freezing her sarnies when we were at school, at that was a 'few' years ago ;)

Had an unexpected visit this evening from BIL and DN which was nice.

Not been out today except for an emergency trip to home base, the roller I'd bought didn't fit the roller cage I had so had to get another one, luckily had a spare £5 from the, ahem, grocery budget so used it for that.

So NSD #9 for me and first coat of paint on the bathroom at last :j paint smelled a bit odd actually, kind of damp. It was a tin that was half left from the decorating earlier this year so not sure if it's something to do with it being opened? Anyway, went ok on the wall although my painting isn't perfect :o sure it will look ok once the second coat is on.....I hope ....

  • Hi,

Due to mum and sister down since monday its only NSD #3 for me though hopefully won't need to spend anything tomorrow morning :D. On a positive note though I did only spend £35 while they were down and £23 of that was I treated them to dinner at Toby Carvery on thurs night:rotfl:
Thanks to money saving tips and debt repayments/becoming debt free I have been able to work and travel for the last 4 years visiting 12 countries and working within 3 of them. Currently living and working in Canada

Only managed 1 NSD during the week last week - work is too manic to handle at the moment without coffee! On the plus side, I'm halfway through a completely spend-free weekend trying to recover so I'll bag NSD #5, #6 and #7 including today please.

Next week's not looking hopeful either, am already feeling like I need a double-shot espresso just thinking about how much I've got to get done tomorrow, and trying to fight off the urge to start today in a bid to get ahead of the game ... Pretty sure that's not what weekends are for. :(

    Good Morning Folks,

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend so far:). I have had a busy enough weekend and have been spending, so no NSDs since my last visit. I just got a message on my sim card telling me my credit is low, so have just ordered another one, which probably won't arrive until Wednesday, so no more internet access for me after this:mad:.
I have been baking this morning and made peanut butter and chocolate cookies and some fifteens:)
Am off to spin shortly, so wish everyone a good Sunday:)
Kerri, I'm glad you're feeling better and hope everyone else is well:)
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!

Hello, I managed NSD #7 yesterday which was my target for this month -- a whole week without putting my hand in my pocket for me or my children. I think (hope) I may be able to notch up a few more this month, but I think for me, a good goal would be to have a week a month where I don't spend money.

Ugh, know the feeling about that one, didn't log off on fir until 8pm. Could you have an emergency coffee allowance in your budget perhaps? Or is there any way you could take or make your own at work? X
