Reasonable day today.
Kitchen surfaces washed and all stainless steel polished - including the draining board. We live in an area with very hard water and a quick wipe with polish massively decreases the water stains.
Bath, basin and loo cleaned including pluggy things.
DS loo cleaned
WM fed 4 times, washing hung and ironed
Bedroom windows cleaned
Also had gs all day so made an early start before he arrived.0 -
Evening,
Can't remember what I said I'd get done but I'm pretty sure I didn't manage it! Due to feeling all sorry for myself and a bit sad and lonesome as OH has been away 3 weeks now and I'm just feeling a little neglected I guess. It doesn't help that I'm super tired as baby may wont sleep and Roo has reached the terrible 2s and is a nightmare!!
Anyway, what I did get done was, wash up, unload and reload DW, empty bin, tidy up, wipe worktops, wipe tables, 2 loads of washing and change bed. Am at horrid work tomorrow so won't get much done.
How was the HV pigpen, mine is utterly useless. Well done pixie on doing so well weight wise. I haven't had May weighed since she was nearly 3 months but she's doing ok, which is always reassuring when you're Breastfeeding.0 -
I've done a bit of my craft challenge and stitched a whole thread :T:rotfl: wowee will do more tomorrow but its black on navy so not easy on the eyes.
Towels brought in and put in airing cupboard. Think they're dry but felt bbbrrrrrr cold. Pulled tall shelves out of corner in conservatory and cleaned skirting and floor. Hoovered all round so plaster dust gone. Got some paint and bits together to make a start on decorating.
Kitchen re-tidied after littlies tea. New rug hoovered, think I do like it after all
Everything set out for morning, will put alarm on, not that I'm ever able to sleep that long...
Right, a spot of feet up and reading I think...Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -

My fleeces which are to become curtains should be here in the next few days.
My friend thinks I'm hilarious for doing this. I need new fleeces, where did you order yours from?

Feels like it's been such a long day. The paid stuff is going to be a pain in the proverbial this week, it's terrible that someone should get so worked up and stressed for taking a holiday, even worse knowing it'll be bad when they get back regardless!
Nevermind, so far tonight I've cleaned the microwave, the toaster/kettle, the worksurfaces and sink. Also done the fronts of the units and the floor.
Cupboard under the sink ignored as it's already been packed and cleaned haha Just the oven left and the fridge but am intending on defrosting and cleaning before the move.
Also investigated the kitchen appliances needed for the new house and think I've picked. Intending to get them from JL for the longer warranty so contacted them for the price match as did find cheaper elsewhere. Will wait for a response before arranging purchase. If I don't hear by Thursday I'll go in store as want delivered next week.
Am knackered so think I'll head off to bed to read, would try to sleep but awaiting the DBF getting home #footballwidow
Did read through the thread but apologies as everything went in one 'ear' and out the other with the exception of the dogs eating shoes chatter. That's one of my top two reasons to not getting a dog, the other being the lack of potty training!
Hugs and cheers to those needing them.
