We put a board across the stairs (used to use a baby gate but it won't fit in our bannisters) so the dog can't go upstairs, unless it's a special occasion like I'm ill and she's allowed in the bed with me
We have a rule of no shoes on the floor as well, thou OH always takes her shoes off in the front room and leaves them, she's been lucky so far but I will have no sympathy if they end up spread across the floor in chunks!

One of my regulars, Jessie, won't touch shoes in the rack, but if they're on the floor, she considers them hers.:D I can't ban dogs from upstairs, as we live in a bungalow.:rotfl: However the internal doors are safe as they have round knobs which even I can't open if my hands are playing up!:rotfl:It's just the front and back doors that have flip-down handles. The front door is kept locked, so there's no danger of them getting out onto the road.:o

I am flat broke even though I have just been paid. Must must must tighten belt; flog anything that's not been pinned down on ebay and basically hope that nothing goes wrong...

Been to work today *kerching* on supply. Also as I don't work Tuesdays I won't be losing any money by striking *mops brow with relief*.

Hopefully, now DS is away my electricity bill will go down - havent been using the DW so much.

Will fly when I can...

Extra Mission ~ Choose one or more of:

• One load of washing
• Empty bin and make it smell nice
• Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
• Clear and wipe the tops of the wall units!! - not safe to reach
• Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
• 30 minutes ironing - need to stop procrastinating with this!

Deep Clean Challenge
Get in that cupboard under the sink and fling everything you don't use.. if it hasn't been used in the last 6 months you don't need it.. fling it!! Give it a GOOD scrub out before replacing the things you do use and need to keep. Feel free to get carried away and do more cupboards!!! - I think mine may be too full of spiders for me to attempt this (wimp!) but I'll keep it on here in the hope that DH will give me a hand.

I have a curtain pole... one down 3 to go! Curtains are running through the wash then they can go back up. I have some holes letting draughts in which will be filled very soon. My fleeces which are to become curtains should be here in the next few days.

Next job... Tesco order .. before we starve .. we are on freezer scrapings now.

I'm afraid I never got round to the HHI.

Mum called in, then I did the school run, came back, done the potatoes, visited the school, back for food, then Guides.

Dsd is picking up DD so I'm going to do a bit of ironing now..............

Thanks for posting up the list, I was fortunate that most of the clutter had been cleared from under the kitchen sink a few weeks ago so just needed to scrub it. Lunches all sorted for tomorrow.

Changed bed when I got in tonight. So that's in the wash.

Made my mind up about voluntary job so have cut my hours down a bit.
