Yes you are very correct but the kirbyinfurnasslad is not even a solicitor and claims to have attended 35 court cases as a litigants friend and has no evidence whatsoever

Anyone can make such a statement

  • Back to the matter in hand for the benefit of the OP

She has had letters from both GW and GPB that CLEARLY states "Our client Roxburghe has written to you on several occasions asking for payment."

When the court papers come in, there is no mention of Roxburghe it states "Our Client PCN NW"

That is because Roxburghe have failed to collect, yet the charge remains the same and has in fact gone up

Yet GPB is nothing more than a desk in byfleet (Not open to the public) Yes there HQ is Stratford but they are in league with a debt collector

Now am I missing something here
  • I think your reading things the wrong way. Maybe stick to the claim itself rather then looking into red herrings?

GPB is a bona fide firm of solicitors. You might not like them (we certainly don't) but the way to deal with any dodgy practices by solicitors (and that includes in-house legal departments such as PE) is to complain to the solicitors regulation authority. They might talk their way out of one or two complaints, but a steady stream will lead to a thorough investigation by the SRA (and has on occasion resulted in a solicitor being disciplined or losing their practising certificate, and practices being closed down).
I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.

LazyDaisy, you are a solicitor are you not (Respect)

If I am so far from the truth, can you explain how this one works to me please...

I was taken to court by sobell AKA Graham white and on the court documents he was representing an NHS Trust....No mention of Roxburghe, as stated in the GW letters "Our client Roxburghe"

They lost and were made to look fools.

The NHS trust were ordered to pay me a fixed sum.

12 days later I got a letter from GW saying "please find enclosed a cheque from our client in defending this matter"

    The cheque was from Roxburghe

So my question to you is why would roxburghe pay out ???

Who knows? I haven't seen the evidence presented to the court, I wasn't present in court to hear the arguments on the day, I haven't seen the decision, and I am not party to the advice Roxy was given by their advisers.

Sorry, I'm good.... but I'm not that good!

I don't deal in 'what ifs' or hypotheticals - I just look at the facts as presented in a particular case, and give my view on what to do about it which is mostly - but not always - agreed with by other regulars... but then I don't claim to be perfect either.

I appreciate that but seen as I am not a solicitor I wanted to know why Roxburghe would pay up ??? the full transcript is over on cag....no mention of Roxburghe's involvement in the case except a few letters asking for money in the same way they do today with GPB
