Ok guys here is how to get to the sell screen at Equiniti
Got to
shareview.co.uk/dealing
Scroll down about half way and click on the link under this section
Share certificate and CSN dealing
On the next screen click the TRADE NOW button top right
Fill in your details but select DON'T HAVE ACCOUNT and use RMG for your share code
On the next screen select Royal Mail Plc Ord Shs 1p
On the next screen select Corporate Nominee Service and enter your shareholder reference.
Tick the box at the bottom of the next screen and continue
You should then be at the screen to sell your shares0 -
Quick Q - should I try ringing as I haven't had any email ??0

I used one Email address to purchase shares (nowhere near £10,000) for myself and a relative, on my and her debit cards and using our separate postal addresses. One single Email with a shareholder ref number has arrived today. It does not mention any names or shares allocated. That was 1.5 hours ago, no other Emails arrived since. Thoroughly confusing!0

That's exactly what I've done (not sold yet though).
Does anyone know how the proceeds of the sale will find there way back to me?0 -
Also, I just managed to get through to their call centre on 0121 4150250. It was a foreign guy with a poor understanding of english.
I asked if I used the telephone selling service (not the automated one the £25 one), can they do the transaction today and fund electronically if I provide my bank details. They said no, it would be by cheque within 3-5 days (worse than the automated!!) and paying for the privledge.
So now my options are:-
1) Sign up to Shareview, sell my shares (possibly waiting for an activation code), then can I transfer funds immediately to my bank account (if not anyone know how long it takes)? Can anyone who has already signed up please confirm?
2) Automated telephone and wait for cheque and clearance.
Which would be quickest?
Thanks0 -
back up to 479.00.......doesn't seem to be collapsing through the floor:)
The trend over the first few days seems to have been an early surge in morning with the price dropping back and then levelling out during the day before a rise towards the close.
I really want to sell today (going on holiday next week so need the beer money) so I'm hoping they they pick up to around 485p by close of play.0 -
Excellent info (if I ever get my email)
Is it an instant trade at the specified share value of is it delayed until 3pm like the phone line? What about the money, does it get sent as a cheque or to your bank account that paid for the shares?
Thanks.carcuscrae wrote: »Ok guys here is how to get to the sell screen at Equiniti

I got a pop-up saying I'd have to send them a cancelled cheque to confirm my bank details. Awkward sods.0 -

Thanks.
You get it at the price that is quoted when you sell. You can request it to be paid to your bank account0
