when registering on the shareview site ...its asking for a company name?
  • Did you manage to get payment into your bank, a post before mentioned having to send a cancelled cheque?

    Even more awkward!!

You get it at the price that is quoted when you sell. You can request it to be paid to your bank account

You don't need to register unless you want to keep the shares...see my instructions above if you want to sell today

I haven't sold yet, all I did was add my bank details

Same here. I requested £4,000. They sent an email saying the excess funds (£3,250) will be sent back by Monday 21st.

Did you get a specific one referring to your excess funds?

So far we have only had the "ad repeat" one referring to "any refunds of surplus application money", to be sent OUT by Monday 21st, not back by Monday 21st.

    Quick Q - should I try ringing as I haven't had any email ??

    Be patient.

They said originally you would get details within 2 days.

We only part way through day 1.

Well I applied last minute for shares, so I think that is perhaps why I am still waiting for an email.
  • If you go here, you can see the live price

  • Ahh okay, hopefully you dont need to go through this farce when you do come to sell, if that is your intention.

Has anyone else sold shares by entering in bank details to ShareView? would be interested to know if it all went smoothly or if you have to send a cancelled cheque?
