US debt ceiling has been raised for another 6 months, its just stuck in the political wranglings as who gets what between the parties for agreeing the deal ATM.

Oh good. (Counts on fingers.) That takes us past the next round of Quo gigs before civilisation collapses.
  • Maybe you do not see a sell button until you have logged in?

I cannot see this anywhere -i see a page on Share certificate and Corporate Sponsored Nominee (CSN) dealing but not with a sell button or anything like that only some info - was it through your portfolio?
  • I'm a little lost.
I requested £1500 worth. £1500 was taken from my bank.
I received an email giving me a link the table saying, if you requested less than £10,000 worth of shares, then you only received £750 worth.

I have received the email about telephone share dealing, but I'm still, 1500 down.

Has this happened to anyone else? Do you know who you call?

    Thanks,

    John

Did you get any confirmation of the sale?

I tried to register for a "Shareview Portfolio" but need an activation code which will be coming by mail apparently.

    I used https://cert.shareview.co.uk/registrars_login/fs_login.jsp

Have a confirmation screen, but no email.
  • From the shareview FAQ:-

What happens if I sell my shares?

If you sell shares on a register that we maintain, the balance will usually be updated in your Shareview holding within a day of the share register being changed. If shares are bought or sold through the market, the share register changes on the 'settlement' date. This is usually five or ten days after the bargain date and is shown on the contract note from the stockbroker or share dealing service making the trade.

Does this mean if you sell online you may have to wait another 5-10 days to be able to retrieve your money.?

Got through but then I realised I need the 2nd email which has the number of shares allocated. Did people get 2 emails ?. I only received one email which has the shareholder ref number but not the number of shares.

Same here. I requested £4,000. They sent an email saying the excess funds (£3,250) will be sent back by Monday 21st.

    Everybody got 227 shares
  • Has anyone who asked for more than 750 shares had a refund yet?
