What did the email say? Can you sell them online and does it give you instructions to do that?
instructions on selling are in the prospectus and are also broken down in the telegraph article a page or two back0 -
Just received my email containing my shareholder reference number! Hopefully everyone else's will come through shortly!!0

Hi all,
got my email about 9.45 am with shareholder ref number. Used the automated telephone line to equiniti which took about 20 attempts to get through. I believe my sale will now go through by 3pm today (I'm selling them all).
I could have done things a different way, but I bought them with an overdraft, so just want rid asap.

They should be around £2.78 by 3:00pm ;-)0 -
Oh well, never mind
Of course I don't mind, I didn't have the benefit of hindsight like you did, so I'm happy enough with 464.5 considering I only paid 330. Nobody ever went skint taking a profit.
EDIT: I am not particularly interested in holding individual company shares, especially when the overall value is low, it isn't worth my time keeping up to date with how the company is doing.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
Before I waste my time lamenting - can anyone please confirm the following:
If you were silly enough to choose the certificate option, would you be able to sell today (assuming these nutjobs provide the necessary info)
I would have thought you should be able to sell on Equiniti's platform???
Although this does not concern me anymore (holding on to them)
I did ask yesterday the same question but no one seems to know the answer.0 -
Finally got my E-mail and have placed the instruction to sell.
As mentioned on here, they are selling them in batches so you won't know the price you got until that batch goes through, which will be 15.00 for me.
Hopefully they won't drop too much in the next 5 hours but really not happy that I have to wait until 15.00 to sell instead of being able to sell at 11.00 like others just because they got their E-mail earlier than me and to top it off I won't have a clue what price I get until then
Also, despite the fact they have my debit card details from when I paid for the shares, they are sending the proceeds from the sale by cheque so I won't see the money for a while yet and can't immediately re-invest it.
Have to say the whole thing hasn't been run very well.0 -
x-o.co.uk is back up after being down most of the morning. Remember if you want to trade and the website is down you can ring them - they seem very friendly and helpful.
Their number is 01892 5105150 -

Fair point. I've bought only this morning, and expect to hold for the long term. Different strategy for different situations."I don't mind if a chap talks rot. But I really must draw the line at utter rot." - PG Wodehouse0
