What did my dream mean?

  • Thanks for your response pukkamum, really appreciate it :)

Hmmm, that is interesting... I suppose I was thinking of it in the literal sense ie that ultimately, no other man would be good enough if it isn't my ex and that deep down I'd like to get back together with him and that the children represented the fact that he isn't ready to be a father figure to my children.

However, your meanings make a lot of sense. I am considering a career change and a house move but there are complications as to how I go about it. So this has been playing on my mind over the last few weeks.

With regards to how others perceive me, I am generally regarded as having my head screwed on and a 'planner'. I wasn't dancing with he children though, they were just there in the background. I was showing my ex's brother an impression of something but can't remember what.

Interesting about me wanting to adopt an element of his personality as I have always admired his focussed approach to anything that he cared about in life whether it was his family, career, relationships etc...

You should start your own dream interpretation thread!! :T

    Toilets represent our needs.
The desperation for and lack of privacy is indicative of not wanting to appear needy, wanting others to recognise and understand your needs without you vocalising them.
A way to resolve this is to start putting your own needs first, say no more often.
The violence represents how strongly you feel about this.

The dream about your dad is lovely, I have had similar dreams about deceased relatives, I think it is just your minds way of letting you feel at peace about their death.

Thank you pukka mum! I agree that my 'dad'dream gave me a great feeling of peace, and I cherish that.
I had wondered if the toilet dream was to do with my not feeling that I have adequate 'me time' in my life but what you wrote struck such a chord! I am useless at putting myself first or asking for help. perhaps I need to do a bit more kicking out in real life! then DH can get a decent night's sleep ;)

it's a most interesting thread - I am not given to self analysis (another example of not giving time to myself, lol) so it has been enlightening...

    That's a fab idea :T:T
Some people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass :)
