They really cannot understand that you should turn off radiators in rooms not in use.

On that principle it must cost the same to heat Buckingham Palace as a bedsit.

I'm equally amazed that people think the monthly DD amount they are set when they sign up is a "quote" and they can use whatever they want when they want "because they pay the £40 a month quoted". Not to mention those that don't know how to read meters or the reasons for needing to do so!

Maybe they need to teach this sort of stuff (life skills?!) in schools as people certainly don't seem to be getting the knowledge from their parents / family nowadays.
