I'm usually clean myself when drying off with a towel;), no definitely not daily. Not good for the environment, all that unnecessary washing...

Bedding once a week, kids are young and may stretch theirs longer as they are usually in my bed

Towels about the same. Although swimming towels I sling in wash when we get home as they've usually ended up on the floor...

I change my towels once a week, sometimes longer if the weather is bad! I top and tail my sheets, then wash them once a fortnight, or when I remember.

Sheets every couple of weeks, bath/shower towels once a week, but hand towel (one for all family) every 2-3 days.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    Gosh!

I change the bedsheets and towels on alternate weeks. One week bedsheets and the next one the towels.

As someone has already said towels are used for drying after washing parts of the body. We wear nightclothes so the sheets don't get dirty just a bit whiffy.

Mind you I am away from home about two or three nights a week so that helps I suppose. Still, even if at home every night I wouldn't consider washing towels daily.

    Each to their own though.
  • i'm another beds weekly towels daily person

the people who get longer than a day from the bathroom hand towels cant have a son who wipes his face on them after brushing his teeth, so toothpaste all over them, nor daughters who think they will melt if nothing but a splash of water hits their delicate face so wipe mascara off with the other hand towel hanging on the rail

    i have both:D

and both old enough to know better:o

My bedding is changed weekly or more often and towels... I have a clean one every time I shower and a separate one for my hair.. even if I shower 3 times a day I use clean towels each time.

Bedding weekly and towels daily for me too
I also have a boy who wipes his toothpasty mouth on the towels and he also is old enough to know better ;-)

I aim to strip the beds every week, but if i'm busy or out and about alot I will skip a week.

Towels are thrown in the wash every couple of days.

  • I live alone, bedding ideally every week but sometimes 2. Towels usually 5-6 days. I don't have a TD or heating so its mostly dependant on how much other washing needs done!

The hand towel in the kitchen is changed daily, bathroom towels as and when they need it.
Sometimes they can last a week, sometimes less than a day depending on what people have been doing and whether they are hung up on the hook or left on the floor after use.

Bedding is changed when it's needed, usually 2 to 3 weeks but more often in summer. Pillowcases are usually at least every week though, I have sweaty headed kids.
