Off to find the disinfectant and hoping the damage isnt too bad.The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0 -
Been looking at weevil pics on the web, not sure mine are weevils. I think they're flour beetles. They are minute- about 0.5 mm by1.5mm and brown, they crawl.0

Mine were about the size of an ant, very dark brown and although they came from a bag of flour at the far end of the kitchen (near the back door), I found them in my living room and around the front door.
When I tracked them back I found an opened bag of bird seed in the back of the cupboard, behind a mountain of used carrier bags and the like. The bird seed bag was ALIVE!!!!!Just run, run and keep on running!0 -

I'm contemplating in investing in some plastic air tight containers from poundland. My house was only built in 96.0 -
My sister had them last year in her flour and was told by my grandmother to put some sticks of peppermint chewing gum in the cupboard (still in the paper)
They didn't come back but we never knew if it was because of the chewing gum or if they went after my sis cleaned the infected cupboard:coffee:0 -
I had these in my house when I first moved here. I got rid of them by washing EVERYTHING down with bleach every week or so for about 6 months. I still see the odd one but another good going over with bleach usually sorts it out. I don't think the previous occupant of this house was very hygienic.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
