Pay days yesterday, and even tho we have had all the extra layout this month, we managed a massive £1600 saving in premium bonds:j
this is due to hubby and I doing quite a few hours overtime, we have both worked really hard this month, we want to reach our goal of our country home so much!:)
We still haven't had any interest in the house, so once we have daughter settled in her new home, 6-8 weeks time? , we will then look to reducing the asking price by £5000 and see what happens.

Thanks for reading Chumpy!
No house news, we have dropped the asking price this week by £5k, as 6 weeks on the market and no offers, as the house is in good condition, the only thing wrong is the price!
Daughters house purchase with her bf going through nicely, no completeion date yet, but all paperwork signed I think, awaiting searches now..
This months supersaving going well, ive managed to keep grocery spends in budget, also stuck to diet for last 10 days, and lost 6lb in total! :T I'm aiming to lose 2lb this week

Thanks for dropping by Brizz and Chumpy!
Lost another 1llb, so that's 7lb in total up to now, I just need to keep focussed
My pay day today, hubbys Friday, and its looking like we will be able to make a good lump to the p.bond fund, I will update signature Friday evening.
Ive set my self a mini challenge, I have £155 in my purse, that's £5 a day spends between now and my pay day next month. So I plan on using that and nothing else for all spending money, random costs etc. Lets see..:rotfl:current official end date of mortgage= 2037-aiming for 1st March 2029. mortgage balance start of challenge- 25/11/2016 £245,695 mortgage balance 05/06/25 - £101,353.67 2025 challenge- get mortgage balance to £95,000 by new years eve 2025, and a years outgoings in premium bonds after water system paid for

today I went through next months budget plan, and this months savings to premium bonds.
After everything went out, we were left with a massive £2,800 to buy this months bonds, bringing our new total to £16,500
My £5 a day challenge is going well, no spending yesterday, so that £5 went back to spare purse to put aside foe either any unexpected cost, if any surplus cash left at the end of the month, I will use it for next months spends, or a small grocery top up, depending on how much saved. £2 spent today on a dozen free range eggs for us to enjoy on this lovely long bank holiday weekendcurrent official end date of mortgage= 2037-aiming for 1st March 2029. mortgage balance start of challenge- 25/11/2016 £245,695 mortgage balance 05/06/25 - £101,353.67 2025 challenge- get mortgage balance to £95,000 by new years eve 2025, and a years outgoings in premium bonds after water system paid for

Lovely sunny day!:)
Today ive- cleaned the house, done 3 loads of washing which is all nearly dry, Morrison shop arrived, and ive done full freezer inventory, which are both full to busting.. ive meal planned enough food, other than fresh fruit/salad to last us till next payday! theres a challenge if ever I saw one! :rotfl:
I'm ambitiously hoping to use the £5 a day only for any fresh items we need, so that will mean a lot of grocery savings :T
I'm really going to try my best, so heres to no spend June super budget !! xxx:beer:current official end date of mortgage= 2037-aiming for 1st March 2029. mortgage balance start of challenge- 25/11/2016 £245,695 mortgage balance 05/06/25 - £101,353.67 2025 challenge- get mortgage balance to £95,000 by new years eve 2025, and a years outgoings in premium bonds after water system paid for
