Love your £5 mini challenge - good luck. You are doing so well with the premium bonds - those totals are shooting up again. So inspiring :T

Thanks Chumpy! I'm dreading Friday weigh in, I will be grateful if I'm same as last week, not holding much hope with the extra calories in the last few days :o oh well, fresh start, AGAIN!!:(

On the £ front, my £5 a day is doing well, had no spend day today, did have £15 stashed from no spend days, but this went on prescription and gift for work mates birthday, so a worthy cause :)

Its draw results for bonds tomorrow, I hope we get a win! :T

£5 from quidco today, put into bill account. I will have to think of a challenge for quidco payments, another mini savings account perhaps? I earn £3.50 a week from quidco just for getting morrisons shop over £40, good deal I reckon..:)

My £5 a day challenge is going well, I'm finding most days I transfer the full £5 into my 'spare' old purse, this is going to go towards a shop at the end of the month, and my sons birthday money , he is 26 on the 21st June ! god, that makes me feel old
This week ive lost the 1llb I put on last week due to overeating/drinking on the bank holidays, so this week I want to get stuck in and lose another 2lb :)

With the house sale now going through, no doubt the stress will help with my diet :rotfl: I always find my appetite goes when I have a lot on my mind :)

On more house news, last night I received an e.mail from one of the many estate agencies we have registered, with a house that looks like a contender :) I immediately e.mailed them to arrange a viewing, they called 9am this morning, the viewing is booked for the 15th, so fingers crossed! its an old farmhouse with garage/barns, just what we want. Not bags of land, but we will see if we can make it work for us, I will update Thursday with out come :)

Thanks guys for your lovely comments :)

The house sale progressing fine, the mortgage etc all gone through for the purchaser, surveyor coming Thursday next week from the mortgage company.

The house viewing was a bit of an anti climax, we loved the house, it did want full refurb, but we were up for that, Unfortunately its up for best and final offer in 2 weeks time, and already has an offer of the maximum we wanted to got to due to the amount we would have to spend on it :( Also, there was very little land, so due to both these factors, its back to the drawing board :(

Never mind, we are prepared to wait for the right house, we are torn between buying a small cottage for cash, and saving for another 2 years to enable us to have a better amount to buy what we want, or renting and waiting for the right property, that way we have instant access to our capital.

We are going to have a good think over the weekend :)

A busy day at work, we are short staffed, , 5 and half hours over time today, half an hour yesterday, and more to come rest of week , all money in the pot!:j

We have decided it we haven't found an house we love by 3rd July, we are looking to find a rental property for 6 months, to give us breathing space to find the right home, if we buy a plan b house, it means if the perfect property comes along our cash is tied up, and we are back in the position of having to sell before we can buy it..:(

So. lets see.. pay day for me Friday, hubby Tuesday, then only one more payday till we move :T
