:j good money saving day, won bonus ball at work, £42, which i shared with hubby, also, NSD.:beer:

Ive been good this week sticking to our grocery budget, and sticking to my much needed diet! im determined to lose 16lbs of unwanted fat by end of August, 2lb a week is achievable if i can keep up my self control with the chocolate and booze!:rotfl:

good evening, just dropping in with weigh in figures- 5lb of excess fat lost this week!:j i feel so much better for it, hopefully next week i can lose at least 2lb more..:o

On the money front, grocery budget going to plan, no overspend at all!

nowt lost on the blubber front this week, gained a pound! im gutted.. ive been soooooooooooo good too.:(

On a happier note, so far into the month the budget for fuel/spends and groceries are all on track, so again we are on target to make all our monthly saving goals..:j

:mad: gained another pound, im fed up! been good, i suppose must try harder..

Budget going to plan still,our pay days are friday and monday, at least i have a reduced mortgage to look forward to, if not waistline..

Will report in on our new savings balance, and update signature then..

Hubbys car find- £183

Total savings this month- £1591 :T

Savings gone to plan this month, we have worked hard, just need same level of dedication to weight loss this month!:o

Checked mortgage balance today after this months standard payment of £366.27 cleared, and we are now in the 35s!, £35,713.15 to be precise! :beer:

The monthly interest hasnt been applied yet, but even so, we wont be seeing the 36's again..:T

Will pop in update signature balance 1st August as usual.

Ive been off work ill this week , so though i feel poo, it at least has given me a bit of time to catch my breath and chill reading updates etc to keep me inspired on our mortgage free challenge.

One thing ive been inspired to do is call HMRC , and claim the uniform laundry rebate. Ive read about this a couple of times on Martins e.mails, but never got round to actually doing it (shame on me!)

Well this morning i called the number on Martins home page, after giving a few basic details, they say a cheque for 5 years rebate will be with me within a fornight! result :j
So for a five minute phone call, another saving towards our future plans! i wil let you all know exact amount when the cheque arrives, but as we say, every little helps!;)

Still off work feeling pooey..

Im trying to be productive while im off, yesterday, sorted rebate with HMRC, today did freezer inventory and meal plan for the next week.

Tommorow it will be exactly 2 years to go to us reaching our target to clear this mortgage, and im determined we will do it, alongside our other saving challenges.

Every penny saved counts, and im as determined as ever to reach our goals.

From now on im pushing even harder to save towards our countryside home/clearing mortgage on this place, bring on the challenge , lets see how much extra i can save in August! :rotfl:

bloomin mortgage interest not gone on yet, so still cant update new figure!:(

Im planning on rejoining the gym on monday, i just cant shift this 12lbs with dieting alone. I will use my spending money for this, so it wont affect mortgage savings.

Feeling a lot better today, so hopefully back to work Monday, will have some overtime catching up, which i will use for fuel, so less outgoings from August pay..

Going to check p.bonds site now, see if any winnings! dont know really when winnings show to be honest.. hoping we will soon find out, fingers crossed!!:):):):):):)
