Thanks all
Shortie I didn't even think of that. My son is not fussy so will eat what they give him after the op and parents get a staff discount slip to use in the canteen so we'll eat there. I won't eat much anyway.
The op isn't life threatening but is very important he needs a lot of surgery on his hand. I'm very nervous now. I've been trying to get him to eat as he's nil by mouth soon but he's refused everything apart from grapes.Wife and mother :jGrocery budget

For £2.50 worth of points and 36p cash I got 8 tortilla wraps, 2 packs of golden veg micro rice, a YS veggie lasagne and YS pain au chocolates
Yesterday and today were NSD's but will need to get some milk and a couple of other bits tomorrow. Hopefully I won't need anything else though so hoping for a good few more NSD's this week:ADFW Nerd 145

WELL DONE What a great result !!:money:I now need to make a decision:
I have 2 lots of Morrison's vouchers - if i spend another £40 this week I will get £10 off of another £40 spend next week, (my month will end at the end of next week)
If I spend £60 In Mr T next week (added to this week's spend and 2 more in November) I will get a £30 off voucher in December.
That means I have to spend £140 which means I will go over by about £30 - but I will have a freezer and cupboard full of stuff and about 6 dinners in the freezer ready cooked along with some cakes, apples ready to make crumbles etc. So I should be able to take that £30 off of next month which will be helpful as it will be a 5 week month. And I will save £40 which will be useful for Christmas food, which I am trying to buy out of the grocery budget.
Actually I will only have to spend £130 cos of the £10 off so only £20 over to save £40. And that is still less than I have been spending in the past.
Decision made I think.
Thanks for listening!
Great - that made me laugh :rotfl:Just the sort of conversation I have with myself.

I haven't posted in a while but I certainly have been spending!:o
I am declaring an absolutely horrendous £550.01 against a budget for 5 weeks of £375:eek: I have been buying more than I need, have done some stocking up and have not been sticking to the meal plan. The total includes everything including takeaways and every crumb or drop eaten or drunk outside the house. I don't usually include these bits and it soon adds up!Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -
3 spends today when I went to town.
£6.84 in M&S
£5.00 in £shop
£4.52 in Mr T
Have got Halloween treats in (hidden away upstairs so they don't get eaten beforehand). DH & DS away for weekend so I shouldn't need too much more until next Monday. Making a bread and butter pudding with some stale bread tonight. Just needed to buy small pot of cream as I had all the other ingredients. Very popular with DH & DS. Kitchen should smell good later!0
