We had the lentil and butter bean casserole mentioned on here tonight and everyone enjoyed it - even DH who didn't even mention the meat word!
I assume I could cook it in the slow cooker - has anyone tried?
I'm also wondering about making a double batch and topping one lot with mashed pots a bit like a veggie shepherd's pie - does that sound like it would work?

I had to nip out after tea for juice cartons for packed lunches. Ended up spending £7 odd altogether. Bought the CC cheese on offer in Mr M which should last as it's dated 2014. Also more eggs to do brioche buns♥. (We all love them). Fizzy water and bin liners. Also got all YS goods in C*-*p .... pre cooked pancakes, breakfast pancakes, breakfast muffins and dessert muffins; aswell as lettuce and WW creme fraiche all for £2.00 odd.
