Thanks to all for their contribution to this thread
My cats are both allowed to come and go as they wish - up until about 10pm - at which time, they are confined to indoors
As for the old lady - I can see why she might do it (she may be lonely) but she is not simple and must see the bad feeling that she causes by her actions
So - my cats are both well at the moment
Please can we leave it at that....
