    Welcome Gwen :D

Can't say I've been up to much, been feeling really tired lately and achy. If it continues I will have to go and see the GP. Am hoping it's just broken nights with kids and ruddy dog waking me up.

Dry skin brushing still going strong. Ordered myself a load more mineral make up this morning as I am running low. Had a free mineral eyeshadow in the order so have gone for a nice green colour for a change.

Hope you're all enjoying the lovely sunshine this weekend :D

Longer walk today (in between decluttering). Dog loved it too.

I think I'm going to have a sort through my make up later. I have some in my holiday bag, my handbag and a drawer. Just want to see what I've got. I have a lot of foundations on the go.

Night time routine has been hard. I'm just lazy and tired. Have been not achieving all 3 but have at least either put on hand cream, face cream or cleaned my teeth. Better than nothing though.

My session on Friday was great. I've never had the gel polish before and, so far, suitably impressed with French manicure. Thoroughly enjoyed the massage and facial, made me feel really pampered.

I bought this anti-wrinkle serum (£4.99?) from Aldi on Friday , saw it recommended in a magazine. No idea whether it will work but feels good to take a bit of extra care of my skin. It's a bit different from the all over serum and designed to target specific wrinkly bits.

I've had a bit of a walk here too. Gorgeous autumn day.
  • Hi All, Lovely to see the new thread. I have not been on for ages as I go through phases of not using the computer that much.

I am still self-sabotaging all attempts at weight loss!:D

Went to a Yoga class for the first time in years last night and I really enjoyed it. Aiming to go every Sunday now.

Fabbing wise I have bought myself some new clothes for work. I need to get back into regular cleansing each morning and evening as I am quite lazy with this.

I am going to have a think about goals for this challenge and post them up later.

    Hello all,

I'm sitting here with fake tanned arms and I don't care! I found a tube of self tan to use up as part of my decluttering and thought ooh I could use that. It's ridiculous how much it's making me smile to see a bit of colour!

Also used up a sample of Elastiser. My hair looks much betters for it.

Off to do a bit more decluttering before duty calls.

How's everyone else getting on? :A

    Hi all,

Thanks so much for the kind wishes. The voting runs until Monday so I should find out on Tuesday - am panicking already :rotfl:

Sounds like some great fabbing going on! I've not been as good on the diet and exercise as planned - my in-laws were up for a few days and then was my birthday yesterday so drinks and cake is kind of mandatory surely? :o Was a really good day, went to see a comedian at night and he did a signing afterwards - when I said it was my birthday then he kept wishing me many happy returns and gave me a free signed mini-dvd, really lovely guy! Also, my boss at my part-time admin job, when she found out it was my birthday gave me £100 to 'go have a meal with' - along with a 'how much she appreciated me' speech. Those who remember my old job will know just how big a difference that is for me! :rotfl:

Anyway, is all go at the moment - have a new release out tomorrow, it's a zombie-themed romance so a wee bit different (especially from someone who's such a wuss she can't even watch horror movies lol!) so fingers crossed will all go okay.

Sorry, this post has been a little me, me, me - you're all awesome and hope everyone's fabbing is going well x

I fabbed myself up as far as possible for a day at the office, put an Aussie Miracle Treatment in my hair last night and blow dried it all nice and smooth. Repainted my nails just with a bit of nudey coloured shine but don't suppose anyone but me would notice the extra little touches or appreciates my having slathering my face in overnight repair serum and what have you.

I was pleased to find a pair of newish skinny jeans in the wardrobe that fitted: I had convinced myself they were too tight so was most pleased to find they were actually were a good fit and I felt quite good in them with a bright flowery t-shirt, boots and a dark blue cardigan.

Most things are heading in the right direction and I'm back in quite a good routine, doing my C25K walking / running three times a week and not doing too bad on the better eating regime either. Have been back into cooking a bit and at least had decent homemade lunches (pasta salad mostly) and dinners.

Belated, happy birthday from me too pod. I certainly remember how horrid your last employer was so this one sounds a real sweetie! You deserve it.:A

It's now a week since I used my Groupon voucher. Delighted to report that I'm really impressed with Shellac nails. I've never had them done before. The French manicure on my hands looks as immaculate now as it did when I walked out of the salon. I'd certainly recommend.

Have bought a couple of new things recently. Struck lucky in TK Maxx. So two Puffa jackets: one a parka type one, knee-length, navy with a hood and another in a sort of burgundy colour, just waist length. I've worn the short on already since weather's taken a turn for the worse. Also got a jumper, couple of bras and socks.

Just replaced the Aldi body lotion (I think it was LL that recommended). It's great and at the price I can be hugely generous with it. I'm also trying a new anti-wrinkle thing in syringe from Aldi. Not sure if it'll work but just the act of taking a bit of care is good.;)Still mostly keeping up the fabbing but have been lazy with defuzzing since got too cold for bare legs. DH is out tomorrow so I'm planning a long, leisurely pamper.

Was thinking kiwi, that you'll soon be able to shed your boots and cardi when we're just getting into ours!:)

    Have a good weekend all.

Still keeping up with some sort of night time routine. Either body lotion or face serum. As well as self tan. Makes my translucent skin look almost normal!

Applying make up every day. Need to as tonight I counted 12 foundations in my stash! To be fair one of them (Collection 2000 mineral) was discontinued so I stocked up when I could. But still 12 is excessive.

Walking has reduced quite a bit so I need to get that back on track.

Anyone ever used coconut oil on their hair? I bought a pot and not sure what to do.
