I used to be so good - would get a delivery every two weeks and it would usually be between £60-80. I'd only top up with essentials like bread and milk. Now that I've moved, I have to walk past a small Tesco, Budgens, Co-op and various other local supermarkets. Too tempting! I go most days!

We don't waste anything, but I do usually end up getting more than I planned. I call the Co-op "the £20 shop" cos I always seem to spend that! It's the nearest one to home so tends to be where I do most of my shopping.

Do tend to go to a supermarket every few weeks when everything's getting low. Manage to spend around £100.

I'm a sucker for a bargain. BF would rather buy as he needs, but you often miss offers. I only tend to buy offers when it's what I'd normally buy. He'd rather go in and spend a pound on four loo rolls which won't last five minutes. I'd rather spend £7 on 24 (Cushelle) when I see the offer! I get wound up when I buy washing powder (well, liquid) or dishwasher tablets at full price. Will always grab a box if reduced and I'm down to the last one. I always like to have a back-up for things.

Hate shopping! I do a supermarket shop once a week, and go into the town centre maybe once every three months?

Between work and hobbies I don't have time to shop anyway!

When I was in my old job which I hated I went for a browse every lunchtime and bought far too much stuff. It was just boredom.

I really hate shopping and have started to freak out a bit in supermarkets, really who needs a choice of 250 breakfast cereals?!! but as I live in town I do tend to shop every day instead of doing a big shop mainly because I have a small kitchen and not a huge amount of storage. I don't actually spend a lot on food but I do love a rummage round the CS!!

I love looking around the shops but willpower and the thought of spending means I go into town about twice a month.
I shop online for groceries and most other things including white goods and furniture. I use a cash back site, voucher codes and shop in the sales.

My dad goes at least three times a day. He will buy ingredients for each meal before he cooks it. Three is the minimum though as if he feels like a beer after dinner he will pop out for that too plus anything in between too like my mum running out of Fairy!

Tesco is basically my sister's social life! She'd be lost if she didn't go at least once a day! She is totally obsessed. Luckily, there's one within about half a mile of her house.

My mum always nags her for going so often (she's 41!). She spends a fortune in there and her fridge and freezer are always totally stocked full. You wouldn't believe it though with the number of takeaways they have!

I work in a city centre & annoy my husband by refusing to leave the building til it's time to come home. I shop at the supermarket near home. I may "miss out on" all the exotica for sale but at least we have funds to eat with at month end.

I do my grocery shop online and get it delivered once a week, If I have run out of stuff I will pop to the supermarket to top up but that isnt often, I think I probably buy 90% of my purchases online these days.

    Nor do we! :j

I really worry I'll get as bad as I'm popping into the '£20 shop' so often! Do always have a list and try very hard to stick to it (very hard when Magnum tubs of ice cream (best in world!) are on offer at less than half price! Thankfully offer now finished!).

Planning an epic trip to Iceland at the weekend (shop not country!). Feel excited about going... I really ought to get out more! OMG I'm turning into my sister

Seriously, I think the current excitment is cos I've just got a new kitchen (nearly finished) so things have been missing (no sink, oven, washing machine, etc for several days) and was without a fridge freezer just before that for around 3 weeks as it packed up.

It's still a thrill actually putting something in a fridge rather than in a bucket of cold water in the garden lol!

Ooops, read that as erotica. Thought I'd missed an aisle in Tesco lol!
