Unfortunately today was not a good start to my eating better and I broke all three of my goals, in one day! Will start again tomorrow!

How did your SW plan go today?

I also realised that I miscalculated my budgets at the start of the month (I had more payments going out than I realised) therefore I have already spent up on all of my budgets :( oops

OH and I had a discussion and we reckon that if we put off one payment that we usually would make next Friday, until the following Monday, then we can afford food and possibly enough petrol to get to work, until payday on 25th!! OH has been much better at this than I thought, he even helped me draw up a shopping list using the last few scraps in the cupboard and the freezer.

Thank goodness its the weekend, I intend to hibernate until Monday morning. Do you have any nice plans?

Plan involves another two dayshifts and sleeping.
    :o

Diet was a bit of a disaster today. It started so well... I had one weetabix and my sandwich plus a kitkat which would have been all 15 syns. But then I had some sago from work.

So my diet went just as good as yours. Just like you, I will try again tomorrow.
    :)

Will everything be better for you on Monday?? I do hope it improves.

Fingers crossed, it should be back to normal on Monday.

I just feel really down at the moment and really don't want to do anything. I've turned down several invites from friends this weekend as I want to be left alone. I text my mum to tell her how grumpy I was and she suggested getting some daylight light bulbs as she reckons it could be due to the darker shorter days. I will investigate!

I'm glad I am not the only one who didn't complete the healthy eating plan today! I felt a bit silly not managing it on the first day, especially after writing it on here!

Good luck with your day shifts. Thanks for the hugs!

If it helps today I have eaten horrendously, according to MFP I've eat around 400 calories more than my target.

I really need to start getting out running again instead of putting it off.

Definitely look at those lightbulbs. If they are ineffective then maybe go see your gp, just to rule out anything more serious. (stress or depression sort of thing).
    :undecided

Well, I have had a snooze and then did some wiifit.

    So... that is:
    13/11 - 30 minutes.
    14/11 - 30 minutes.
15/11 - 40 minutes. (messed up my counting and ended up on 31 minutes so had to keep going until I reached the next big number).
    :o

Okies... attempt number 2 tomorrow. Need to try and avoid yummy puddings as I strongly believe 10 minutes extra of wiifit does not equal the amount of extra food I had.
(it was gammon, mash and some sago so the gammon and mash wasn't too bad. however the sago....).
    :(

Positive steps!! We could all still be sitting eating chocolate and ignoring our weight so we are doing well!!

Well done on the Wii fit! I'm planning on taking the dogs on a longer walk today whilst OH plays golf so hopefully that'll be over an hour of exercise for me, plus I need to Hoover the house, which for me always causes me to break into a sweat, so it's practically exercise!

The rest of the day is for resting and trying to cheer up!

Hope you have a good day at work, are you still wearing your pedometer?

Sadly not. The pedometer challenge is finished and they collected all the pedometers back in.
    :(

Today was much better!! I had my weetabix, sandwich (primula and ham) and my kitkat at work then I came home to find OH had cooked half a chicken (got cheap from tescimos). So I had chicken with smash and bbq sauce.
    Total syns today: 13/15.
    :D

Spend-free day number 12 as well (I think).
    :j

Really gutted that I missed out on the new look glitch as they have the most amazing hoody that I want.

I am also a bit attached to this one.

OH has offered to buy me one for my xmas but I thought I could have cheated on the glitch and got both for the price of one.
    :o

Glad to hear you have managed to get some exercise. I would love to get a doggy. They are very lovely and a good reason to get up and get outside.
    :)

I really hope you have succeeded in cheering up. I am quite worried about you. Feel better soon.

That's shocking! I would have thought that they would encourage everyone to keep wearing their pedometers to encourage good exercising habits. :j

I like the look of those hoodies! Its a shame the offer has ended, you should keep an eye out in case the glitch comes back. I like the Christmas pudding hoodie too :)

I have had a spend day, and used the money from the rearranged payment to get enough food to last until payday (£26.61) and to put petrol in both cars (£10 and £15.04). Hoping that I can have lots of SFDs now as I have ran out of money :)

I am feeling a little better today, although I have refused to leave the house except to go food shopping and to walk the dogs. A couple of friends ask me to go out tonight but I declined as I just don't want to socialise at the moment. My mum has invited me and OH for Sunday dinner tomorrow so I've agreed to leave the house tomorrow for a few hours.

OH tried to cheer me up last night. He was out with friends but woke me up when he came home as weirdly a friend's nan had knitted some stuffed animals and he brought me a duck and duckling to cheer me up! It was very sweet of him and a little surreal in the middle of the night.

Well done on the healthy eating, that's brilliant! My day was not healthy, but better than a usual day :o I had a bacon sandwich, flapjack, cheese toastie, chicken nuggets and waffles for tea and a pancakes for pudding  Writing that down, I now realise, that was actually a lot, whoops

    How was your shift?

This is definitely my longest post ever!

I am glad to hear you are getting out the house tomorrow. I hope your mum is doing a lovely sunday roast for you and your hubby.
    :)

I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling so 'under the weather'. It was so cute of your OH to try and cheer you up with the ducks/ducklings.
    :)

On the plus side of running out of money... you are going to have another 14 spend-free days by the 30th.
    ;)

I love the look of the xmas pudding hoody too but I think I am too "round" for one of those. Don't want confused people to start thinking there is a xmas pudding walking about.
    :p

I am so jealous... would love a pancake (well, a crepe) with nutella and maybe even marshmallows. I had one... erm, about five at my festival in june (and I wonder how I have gained weight).

I like long posts. I really struggle to condense my day into a short post. I guess I am just really chatty.
    :o

In an effort to cheer you up... quack quack.
    ;)

:rotfl: you've just made me realise that I would look like a large round Christmas pudding with legs. Maybe I should buy one as motivation, maybe by next Christmas I could wear it when I'm not so round! :rotfl:

Thanks for the quacks, it did make me giggle :)

I'm hoping Sunday dinner and a visit to the family will lift my mood, although I do have an urgent pile of marking to tomorrow :o

Do you have any pets at the moment? Would you consider getting a doggie? You could say it was for exercise purposes ;)
