There's no way that Asda don't know what their agents are up to. Maybe they were duped when they first signed the contract but there's way they could still be oblivious to what's going on. Given that they haven't torn up the contract you can only conclude that they are complicit in the scam and/or don't want anyone to use their stores (and I'm more than happy to oblige them with that).
Think you'll find there's every chance head office are blissfully unaware of the behaviour of the scammers.

I don't believe that for a moment! That is why asda goes about deliberately lying that the car parks are owned by the council etc, then they tell their staff to lie about this. To be fair to the staff they are only going on what they are told by their managers and directors etc

The guy responsible for parking in the Retail Development division is very aware of the scams not so smart get up to. However, it isn't in his career interest to inform the Executive of the issues so he does his utmost to keep it from them.

Hence, when there is a clear breach of Law, Planning etc etc it is always worth a punt writing to the Company Secretary at Asda House. Ellie Doohan, also head of Legal.
It's funny how not so smart jump into action and correct their errors when she's on the case.

One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Aww, what a shame. Got a letter today noting the points we raised and to confirm they are cancelling the charge.

    Didn't even get to POPLA
