    Do you mean me?
    Yes, as you well know.
  • Then by all means clarify
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

Then by all means please make YOUR posts clear. You have STILL avoided the clearly-asked question regarding whether your child was with you/your wife during either visit to Asda.
  • He was on the second visit as it was after school. Not on the first

Thank you. So you have a clear case in terms of EA2010, and not a dubious interpretation. :)

Surely the issue here is not whether or not the OP was in possession of a disabled person but the all too common 'first in last out' error of the ANPR camera system?

Now that you have clarified that, then, as I said before, there are countless cases on here where a disabled person is allowed extra time because of that disability. I do suggest, however, that you could have clarified this before to avoid the speculation and your post #32 was clearly misleading by its omission.

If you are going to use overstaying because of your son's disability because you believe that the PPC will cheat on the double dipping point, then that may be considered by some as a legitimate tactic.

But your posts have meandered somewhat and you did write

"I'm not meaning to be deliberately evasive. I'm genuinely interested in the law in general". And the number of variations on your various posts have certainly seemed evasive and non specific.

To be clear, what point exactly would you like a view on? One sentence, no evasion would help.

As a perfectly able person I would never object to someone using a disabled space and a blue badge to collect medicine for a disabled person - regardless of if the disabled person was present or not.
This would be moot on private land as the Blue Badge scheme does not apply but would be illegal on public roads. It is a requirement of the Blue Badge scheme that the holder is always in the car as driver or passenger while the Blue Badge is being used. I believe that this was different under the old haphazard Orange Badge scheme

You could be correct but my money would be on the PPC's doing first in last out photos that ASDA are unaware of and I would be chasing ASDA on that basis to get the PPC's to cancel it. But read 1st post again and see that OP is interested in the Equality angle and not double dipping.

There's no way that Asda don't know what their agents are up to. Maybe they were duped when they first signed the contract but there's way they could still be oblivious to what's going on. Given that they haven't torn up the contract you can only conclude that they are complicit in the scam and/or don't want anyone to use their stores (and I'm more than happy to oblige them with that).

I can't agree that ASDA would support the double dipping first in last out scam. No way!
