The Victoria and David Beckham fund provided moneyfor a bike for myfriends severely disabled daughter, I think it is her mum that runs it, she was the one who my friend spoke to.
I think they assess each case individually might be worth a try.I don't get nearly enough credit for not being a violent psychopath.0 -
Am I the only one who gets a bit uncomfortable with these things? Whilst I totally feel for the families, I do worry that there are US hospitals/medics who are exploiting people who are in the most vulnerable situations as the evidence for these treatments is very flaky (?non-existent). But of course it can appear heartless to not support them. I find it tough.
There was an interesting BBC panorama programme about it in the summer (news article here), not sure if the programme is available via the web to view.0
