Anyone else having a problem with SMSlisto or Justvoip? My Avira has located a backdoor virus in both of them. On going into the Avira setup I found that this is an old problem that has just been updated. I wiped both programmes out and reloaded but Avira was on the ball. Malwarebytes can see no problem. Still safe to use ?

There's some discussion of this in the Avira forum.

Avira has accepted that recent definitions files include false positives for these software clients.

Some brands are already fixed by even newer definitions updates, and apparently the rest will be shortly.
  • Thankyou redux. I couldn't see why SmsDiscount was clear but the others were flagged. Should have checked the Avira site a bit closer. Also means that I haven't lost my credit balance so double thanks.

I use PC to PC calls. I think its a lot easier because other international calls are a bit complicated.

    Hey,

I've just downloaded Voipcheap and am looking for a usb phone to use with it. Have just been to PC World but they only have headsets.

Just looking for a cheap one, preferrably with handsfree dialling.

I'd be grateful for any ideas. thanks

Betamax VOIP in numbers are available again for 1 Euro. I thought I would get a normal UK local number like in the old days. But they gave me a 056 number. I feel really annoyed as the text on their site said I would "get a regular UK number". Wasted 1 Euro!! Just though I'd post it here so other people don't get ripped off.

    Hey

I use Voipcheap and have tried using 0800buster a couple of times. I'm able to get through to the company but after about 20 seconds it goes dead and it comes up "other person has ended the call".

Does anybody else have a similar problem?

    Thanks
