    do always wonder why pre-order... never had any problems buying in a shop on launch.. not like they are going to understock?..

    I like to pre-order cos I've never had a copy not turn up either a day early or on launch day.

    Well I've got GTA V for £34.99 from Amazon. If you can tell me somewhere I can get it for the same price walking in I'll go!

    Arg same thing has happened to me - they said it has been dispatched but it hasn't arrived :/

    I assume due to high order volumes they sent some early, on time and also late because they didn't physically have the man power to cope with so much dispatch on one day. But they're never going to admit it!

    Maybe I'll get mine in Tesco and send it back for a refund.

    This link shows an article that states Amazon have run out of stock and that orders placed after Friday will not be available until after the release date.

    My son went to the midnight release - and we had also pre-ordered from Game. We've both had a good few happy hours playing!

    My Amazon order still hasn't arrived so they have refunded me.
    Bought it in Tesco yesterday afternoon because I couldn't disappoint the birthday boy.
    I pre-ordered back in August so can't see mine was one they couldn't fulfill.

    Everyone I've spoken to has got the blimp code regardless of platform or source. It's in the sealed box so guessing it is standard.
