Happy Monday Morning..
10 minutes until dd finishes her exam.. will it be smiles or tears??
Have decided to remove cab*t/m & s debt from my signature as I haven't heard a peep from them for 4 months and if necessary I will add it back..
So current situation is £7259 Unenforceable due to lack of CCA documentation.. Still keeping my fingers crossed about the big one but that is still going round and round the houses.....
So close to 50% now... but still a long way to go especially on token payments..:rotfl:
LF loan for car down to £2700 now so 27 months to go, although he does keep trying to write it off.. the debt that is not the car...:rotfl: But I would rather pay my way...
Right best get ready for my phone call...

Fingers crossed for smiles, huge ones for you and her both:j:j:j
Just checked my Capital One credit card statement online to see when the DD is due to go out and I see that they have today uppped my credit limit from £500 to £1000 as promised:T
In the bad old days it would have been an excuse to go on a bit of a spending spree:o. Nowadays I just like the reassurance of having it there intact as an emergency cushion;)0 -

Glad all went well with DD exams, and hope essay got submitted. My DD also had mid Jan deadlines for 2 big essays - had to work flat out over hols. I never got very far with losing lbs last year but am determined this year. Have tried to not snack between meals (really hard when its cold
but I'm 4lb down since beginning of Jan
- probably all just water but its encouraging...
I'll cheer you on ......
Have a lovely weekend

Morning.....:j
It's Friday for me as I have the next few days off...:j
Tomorrow dd and I are heading for the cinema and Friday getting organised for dd's return to her other house..:(
So... Had a fabulous day out on Saturday, cost a fair bit, but my bff picked up quite a bit of the tab so I think I owe her about £40... I know she will never ask for it though.... that's why she is my bff..! The birthday girl thoroughly enjoyed her treat so I am glad that's out the way now.. its mine next...!!! but not for quite a few months..!
Payday came and went... all pots filled, little extra this month as no water, no council tax and I made £50 on ebay.... so savings coming along nicely..!!
I have decided to do a monthly weigh in/exercise assessment so can say today from 1st January..
Weight - 4lbs down
Exercise - 15 Walks Totaling 6 hours 15 mins..
Aim for next month 3lbs and 10 hours walking....
Got lots of change to bank, some for the clothing fund and £90 for dd's bus fares for the next 3 months.. that's from my £1 a day...
So need to get to the bank/sort trains for tomorrow, sort dd's doctors forms etc etc....and do some work.. maybe..:D
Waiting for OH to get back as he's not 'working' this week.. but is next week so i'm sure we will manage...
Its looking very grey outside is it rain or the dreaded snow coming.. better be the former..!!!
Right best get on...

Monday...again.....but...its February.....:D
So Thursday dd and I went to the cinema its not a cheap trip by any means if you include travel and dd's treats.. £40 gone just like that...! But the film was really good and we had a nice day out..
Friday didn't achieve much, a bit of food shopping for dd to take home with her yesterday..
Saturday more food shopping at a different supermarket so I could use my saved nectar points....
Yesterday organising for the trip back.. that was a long holiday she broke up on the 16th December, no wonder I was sad to see her off.. OH drove her back last night and she was safely in her other home by 9pm... Not sure when OH got back as I had gone to bed....:rotfl:
I made a decision, not the best financially but it is my big year this year and for my birthday treat I am going away with my bff in the Autumn to my favorite holiday destination, have been going for 28 years on and off... So I have changed the booking from a one to a two bed so we will be more comfortable with our own space. you know what its like when you get umm.. older....:rotfl: The price difference was only 63 euros so I though sod it...!!! May have a small shortfall to stump up for as our savings will pay for most of it, but I am sure I can manage that over the next 6 months...
Not a lot else to report, hoping now dd has gone back and I have bought her 3 month bus ticket and food shop that I can hold onto the rest of my pennies until the next payday.. well at least half of them....expect there may be some books needed mind... oh well....
Off out later to do some visits, 2 meetings this week and a day out on Friday by train to do a visit...will try and do some evening visits this week and get on that treadmill as I have only managed 30 minutes so far in Feb.. just the 9.5 hours to do then.....
Letter from wesc*t re my cca that goes round in circles.. they are no longer handling the account.. over to Natsvest then.. again....
That's about it for today so far...!

Hi Puzz, that sounds exciting for your big birthday - oh i wish I was 40 again:)
That really was a long break for DD - mine has been back nearly 3 weeks!
Sounds like everything else is ticking along nicely. I am stuck on 4lbs lost from start of Jan, hasn't helped that we had rather a lot of cake this weekendplus its been so cold I keep wanting to eat.
Have a good week

:j:j the weekend....:j:j
My gosh it was so chilly yesterday it took me 2 hours to defrost when I got home from playing on the trains.... still on a positive no snow...:D
More money spent as predicted on books for dd, on the upside OH is back working and so I am getting my weekly money so all should be fine...
With the planned uni lecturers strikes dd has worked out if it goes ahead she is coming home for a week as 5 out of her 6 are striking.... I still have 2 days leave to take this month so will wait and if she's home I will use them then...
Quiet weekend for me, OH working today and visiting his mum tomorrow, he is also going to a party tonight. He is still doing is dry February but is disappointed not to have lost any weight yet.. might be all the biscuits and crisps he eats..:rotfl: I meanwhile have not been dry and have lost a 1lb, expect it will find me again mind....
I did achieve 4 walks on the treadmill this week so that is going well for 2018...
Today I am doing domestic goddess cleaning.. well ish.. and then off to visit LM and yet again sort out that damn phone...!!!! No other plans for me, just how I like it....
Right off to clean the bathroom..... oh the joy...!!!
No money news, although the postie hasn't been yet and Saturday is usually the day anything unusual arrives.. I will keep you posted...

Happy
day...
Not something I celebrate I must say.. very :money:
I can't seem to get going this week.. nothing unusual there....! Need to get out and do some visits today, but its so chilly....!
Nothing exciting has arrived in the post.. I got a £5 voucher from Iceland after I complained about a damaged container, I did say it was my fault for not checking before I purchased the ready meal, but they sent me a £5 anyway.. how kind. also got £3 tesco clubcard vouchers, i don't use tesco very often... a £20 Pizza Ex card from my ss for Christmas.. bit late...! and I am waiting for a voucher from Morrisons following another complaint about rubbish quality food....
Go me...
Other than that nothing very money orientated to say...
Still doing well on the walking have so far achieved 9 walks this month, totaling 4 hours 10 mins.. Just the 5 hours and 50 minutes to do in the other half of the month to meet my goal.. we shall see....
Have bff coming over tomorrow after work for bubbles and another friend over Friday evening, we shall either pop out for something to eat or get a takeaway.. so a bit spendy.. will try not to spend much over the weekend as its still awhile till payday...
dd still hoping the lecturers strike so she can come home mid week for a week.. best keep my purse shut.. although our new cinema has finally opened so no doubt a trip there and she wants a haircut.. Although I was given £20 by a friend who owed it from awhile back so that's half the hair...
Right best get on , work computer shouting at me... rude...
