I was getting on fine, over the past 6 weeks, I'd been on 3 dates (fourth one is this evening!) and gone to stay with a girl for the weekend twice, but this thing over money has made my blood boil. If it were me and I'd done what she's done I'd be so apologetic and willing to pay everything myself, but no, she not only threw our relationship and home away, not only did she leave me feeling like an emotional wreck, but now wants to leave me owing !!! much a she legally can.....
Do yourself a favour - when you go on dates with women... don't tell them all your financial troubles with your ex. Don't let her ruin any prospective relationships.
Best thing you can do is hold your head up high and move on. Forget her.
Relationships are like fights - you win some, you lose some, but stand up, dust yourself down and prepare for the next...0 -

Thanks for the advice, I'd never tell a girl about whats happened, at least not for a number of months!
I'm trying to accept that "she won" but its a bitter pill to swallow!!0 -
Ok, I have a problem people......the ex made contact on Saturday night! After 8 weeks of silence and hearing she has a new boyfriend (the guy from Glasgow) she text me saturday night and wanted to see me. I was out boozing with my mates so ignored her, but @ 2am just after I'd left a club and having drank far too much (I was seriously hammered!), she rang saying she missed me and wanted to see me!
Stupidly I agreed and she came back to mine for a "chat", however, before I knew what was happening we were tearing eachothers clothes off! Yesterday morning she said being with me feels right but then told me she had to get a flight to Glasgow in the afternoon as she was spending the week with her new boyfriend (the guy she left me for!). She said that she wants to be friends...................can anyone explain what this all means?? What's her motive? Why make contact after 8 weeks of nothing??0 -
Smells like she wants her cake and to eat it to.
My ex left me for some mucky bird a few yrs ago...they got married and have 2 kids themselves now...does'nt stop him trying every move in the book to get in my pants when he comes to see our kiddie.
Maybe shes confussed but more likely wants her cake etc seeing as shes now gone to spend a week with her "boyfriend"
Dont ring her (unless u want to), wait and see if she contacts you again, if she does then ask what that was all about..my guess is she'll be on the defensive and blame you for it.
Dont let her dictate the situation cause you might end up as her bit on the side if she wraps you round her finger.
Us women are complicated creatures sometimes but i promise we are not all like that!Recently moved to South Wales
