oh! I take it that all the things in joint names have been split and passed to whoever it belongs to and signed into the one name?? if not try and get that done - last thing you want or need is you getting a bad rating because she hasn't paid her half... same goes if you have a DD amount to her account - get it stopped...
if its just a case of her owing you some money it may be best just to cut your losses and mark it down as a bad experience. I know its probably going to hurt the wallet but its better than your heart0 -

Very bitter, still angry now, not at him, but at myself, mainly because i still cant believe how stupid i was to think that he would pay me back, there were so many signs.0 -
I really do sympathise. I had made the mistake of jointly owning the property we both lived in. When things went pear shaped I had no option but to continue to pay the mortgage on this property whilst she lived in it - in adition of course to my own housing costs. She was not in a position to buy me out, and would not consent to putting the house on the market until I agreed to have substantially less than my share of the equity (should have been 50:50 of course). Legally I know I was on solid ground but I did not have the money to pay up front what the lawyers wanted - neither did I want things to drag out. In the end after THREE YEARS it took a wiser person than me (new lady) to point out that I could earn more money, but could never earn more sanity - the stress was getting to me big time - The house is now sold. The ex is wealthy! I am still poor but relaxed and wiser. New lady and I now own one property in the UK and one overseas - we own one each - no joint finances any more thank you!
Good luck, but move onwards and upwards. Money CAN be replaced, sanity cannot.0 -
You have been on all these dates and stayed over twice in just six weeks!!!
I couldn't function for at least three months. Off work, no food, lots of drink blah blah blah.
Financial outlay was in the thousands, stress etc.

That's not the way I work, when I get stressed I throw myself into things. In this case I've thrown myself into work (working 8-9 hour days), working out (2 hours a day) and seeing the ladies! That pretty much fills up all of my time! Went on another date this evening too......0 -

good on you, timberflake. Don't stay at home and mope.
However, in a wee corner of your mind keep note of how badly you've been hurt from this, and be sure to treat your current "ladies" with respect and honesty. :A0 -

Simple answer is that if she posted her side of the story - it would be a lot different to yours. People like to think of themselves as fairly decent and honest so she would have justifications as to why she has acted the way she has and she would point to any faults (real or imagined) of yours that have lead her to behave the way she has.
So if she posted, we'd probably all be posting supportive posts to her
