Housing/Parking trouble

Is it a public road, or is it a parking area with marked spaces? If the latter, have you checked that you are not allocated a parking space?0

It sounds like Mrs V. is a lucky lady!

We're not that well off to have a house with our own spot, Thanks..
I think i'll leave a note. today she parked with just enough gap between the cars to fit two motorbikes.
Think she should go back to driving lessons...0 -
If you park on your own land and have a dropped curb put in it can't be blocked - well you can call the police and the car will be (should be) ticketed.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

You leave a note then they leave a note, Then it escalates...
Get there 1st or leave the car there and take the bus for a bit?
If they park there late and make a noise then report them for that but otherwise its a case of live with it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Some wag who lives near me wrote an anonymous letter to a neighbour's employer, complaining about his works lorry being parked on the road here. The letter purported to be on behalf of 'all the residents of (name of my road)'.
Well, first I knew about it was when the bloke with the lorry 'helpfully' posted a photocopy of it through my letterbox. (NDN got one too).
He was clearly majorly p1ssed off about the letter - even though it had no effect anyway; he continued to park his (small) lorry.
Fast forward a few months and he is in my face, threatening me because 'he knows' I wrote that letter...
Nice - he's a big bloke and, being female, I was very intimidated. So much so that I called the police and reported him.
So If you DO decide to start sticking notes on windscreens (or similar) do have the courtesy to sign it then an innocent neighbour doesn't get dragged into the dispute.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

We had a note left under our windscreen wipers saying that the public road we'd parked on was "PRIVATE PROPERTY" and that we should park outside our own house/garage (both of which had cars outside them anyway).
The note also threatened to have our car towed (at our expense) from this imaginary private land. Haven't heard anything since, despite parking there many more times
Would love to see the man we suspect to be the author of this note explaining to an AA mechanic why they should tow a random car away and bill the owner. The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

See, the parking in front of the house bothers us, but not so much the littering and the absurd parking techniques.
I'm fully aware that they have every right to park anywhere they want- as i've mentioned before we both pay road tax, so neither of us have the advantage.
Its the littering and rubbish parking that drives me nuts. She might as well park horizontally the way she's going!
Also, i think i'll just man up- it doesnt bother me as much as my rents do- but the negativity in the house is driving me nuts as well! (time to move out!)0
