Read the NEWBIE sticky, back to the main parking forum page, third post down, see post # 1 right at the bottom in BLUE text, send that appeal as is, no additions, no deletions or modifications. Then start a new thread just for you.

just thinking it is an unfair charge .
Everyone thinks the charge is unfair - but nobody ever wins their case because the charge is causing them to be miffed. You need to get to understand the game you've now been dragged into, with no easy escape without you doing some work on it.

On the positive side, Highview are one of the easiest PPCs to shake off. Please read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1 to understand how it all works and what you need to do.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Highview are a cinch to blow over like a feather. Easy easy easy!

No idea why people don't just read the NEWBIES thread and get on with the template appeal online, being careful NOT to tick 'driver'!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Failed appeal to UKCPS with standard blue template. Now want to complain to landowner. Any good ideas on how to find the landowner? The car park was run by UKCPS in Port Street, Manchester. Apologies if this isn't the right place for this post...

You can ask the local Authority which company pays the non-Domestic rates at that location, or ask Land Registry for the landowner title info (costs a small fee).

  • Thinking to appeal the charge. I wonder that how this organisation is operating as I read some of the complaints starts from 2013 or 2014.

I understand that this PCN issued by the UKPC is still an invoice and not actually a PCN like the ones issued by the councils. If that argument still prevails, please can someone confirm the same.

Thinking to do the appeal and concurrently write to the landowners. Or do anyone suggest wait for the reply for the appeal before writing to the landowners.

nothing will change until the Parking Bill becomes law in a few months time

they are all INVOICES and nothing like a council pcn, so yes we confirm

the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread near the top of this forum explains all this and tells you what to do, which is to appeal PLUS complain to the landowner or M.A. or retailer (s), so do both

    PE/ALDI - DOUBLE DIP
Ecellent approach to putting Aldi under pressure to sort out a ridiculous double-dip NtK (21 hours+) from ParkingEye.

  • Not sure if this is the right place, but just want to say a big thank you to those who keep this forum and the newbies thread updated.

Received an Aldi/Parking Eye ANPR letter on Monday, came straight on here to read advice. Appealed through their website using the template but also importantly sent a email to Aldi customer services saying in no uncertain terms that I was disgusted with their use of this unethical company and the threatening language used.

Email received this morning that Aldi have contacted Parking Eye to cancel the charge. Is that a record?
