There was nobody there to miss them! Although I expect the small mammals who ate their eggs missed them.

Only the types of food that make people fat so that people won't burden the NHS and hence the taxpayers. Yes - very fair. It is after all what they have done with tobacco.

The "fat tax," what a ridiculous suggestion.

Vehicle accidents and injuries treated by the NHS could also be reduced to zero by simply banning vehicles from the road. That's ridiculous too.

And I'm sure a lifelong smoker will have paid a considerable extra tax burden that non-smokers pay.

However, not all smokers ever need NHS help for their health due to being a smoker, do they get a refund?

Why on earth should an individual pay over the odds in an extra tax just because they may enjoy a cream cake once every few months but eat well all other times? Hardly a health risk.

Lazy politics. Problem? Tax it. Pathetic.

Can we go back to what this thread is about. Spotting products that have shrunken in size. Not about fat people.

    totally agree
Shrinking sizes and keeping the same price is all about making money, nothing to do with the nation's perceived health status, otherwise they would donate the surplus profit to some kind of health fund for example to treat cavities caused by eating too much sugary food...

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but packs of Cadbury's chocolate bags have taken a significant drop in contents. I still remember them dropping in recent years.

So the old 155g bags of Giant Buttons are now 119g, that is a massive ~24% reduction in quantity and for the same price  :(

The 'Cadbury' branding from the back of each chocolate has also disappeared so they must be saving money with that too.

    The Great Declutter Challenge - £876 :)
