I feel for you it is no fun being out of work and things have got worse lately, don't understand why they stopped your jobseekers? put in an appeal. You may not like the idea of charity but it is situations like yours that they are there for and principles are not worth starving for.Maybe you could offer your services if that makes you feel better and it will look good on your CV.

Excellent advice above. Also look for part-time work and don't restrict yourself to full-time applications. From acorns do mighty oaks grow.

It is ok saying look for part time work but often it makes people worse off by the time they have paid transport costs extra housing payments ect.

What i want is a full time job legit
An to see if i can last 3 mounth with out food i will not take any food parcels as no got cooker and why should a charity help for something that i payed into the goverment expexts ppl around you to help but i have no one (billy no mates)

You can't last three months without food. Food banks are there for situations like this, and they are there to help. I donate regularly to food banks and would much rather see my donations help someone like you than one poster who complained that the food provided was cheap and not what she would have bought herself!

You have worked for 15 years, so 'no' you are not stupid or unemployable. There are plenty of 'intelligent and employable' people who have barely worked a day.

Have you applied for a hardship payment from DWP (sorry, I can't remember what they are called officially or how much you will get - so hopefully someone can enlighten me)? It will be less than JSA but at least you won't starve.

Looks like the OP has been stitched-up/failed by a flawed chirade DWP/Jobcentre regime & by private company & charity welfare exploiters.

Where do i start i am 41 year old male single on jsa but has been stoped for something that happend in January 2013
Was just surfing the net looking for help or advice an came across this site.
Got up on Friday 6th September as norm checked my emails look for job's Then i here the posty ah a letter from jsa basicly saying my money has been stoped for 90 days starting on the 28/8/13 this letter was strange as it said it was information only an it was for something to do with work programe from January 2013 6 months ago first i have herd anything about it didnt make any sence left it at that as i was due to sign on Tuesday 10th would ask about it then.
On monday i got another letter from DWP confirming it was stoped

I have been on work programes for 4 years about how long i have been signing on a place called triage in Cumbernauld for 2 years & a place in Airdrie Routs to work (routs to die) i did every thing they asked (danced to there music)
What exactly are you being sanctioned for, you really need to find out & appeal.

Where were you, what were you doing, in January, for them to sanction you.

Get some benefits advice from a centre in your area.
  • You say you have no one? no one at all?
Do you know your neighbours, have you thought about offering to do odd jobs for a meal ?

. I don't think anyone would judge you for accepting help when you need it, the charities certainly won't!

One person comes to mind, that useless clot 'Micheal Gove MP' who claimed that people who use food banks have only got themselves to blame for mismanaging their finances.

The WP currently is just two years and it came into play in June 2011 so if you started it in that time you would have just got sent back to the Job Centre. I ended mine in July and I am not on another work programme.

Sorry to say but I have no idea what your 1st post is all about.
I have been on two and i just finished one it was only about 2 weeks ago my advizer was trying to get me to go back to routes to work. but the sanction was from Januray this year
