You don't have to tell me they last two years as I have been on one and one only.

I'm sorry, but I find your post really hard to follow and to understand. Not sure if you are using a phone to type it, but it is probably worthwhile you reading through it again and editing (using paragraphs and ideally making it briefer) to make it easier for others to help.

Specifically, what help are you looking for?

The WP currently is just two years and it came into play in June 2011 so if you started it in that time you would have just got sent back to the Job Centre. I ended mine in July and I am not on another work programme.

Sorry to say but I have no idea what your 1st post is all about.

I'm sorry but, the Government isn't some sort of scheme where you pay in and then are entitled to get a pay out when you want it. I'm sure in all the time you've been working previously that you have used or benefitted from other services that your taxes pay for eg. the NHS.

I do wish people would stop assuming their taxes go into some savings account which they can access at any time and then blame the Country when they're told it's actually not the case.

I do feel for you OP but seriously, come on.

Charities choose to offer food parcels because they want to help people in your situation. If you can't afford to eat, get down there and get some. I don't think anyone would judge you for accepting help when you need it, the charities certainly won't!

Being better with your hands doesn't make you stupid! Gosh, I'm useless with my hands, thank goodness for guys like you who can actually get stuff done instead of poncing around behind a keyboard!!

The fact you were spotting and solving practical problems (taping down carpet tiles, getting a brush) shows you clearly have a decent understanding of general safety and the initiative to take it seriously. I know plenty of university graduates who don't have a clue when it comes to stuff like that!

I wish I knew more about employment and local jobs in your area, you sound like the right job is just looking for you and not found you yet. Have you tried going direct to some unusual places and just asking? By unusual, I mean places like theatres that have a surplus of arty designers but regularly need stagehands who can build sets, know how to paint a floor, etc.? Theatre needs practical people.

Or how about signing up with a crewing company like Gallowglass or Stage Miracles (or someone local to you)? The jobs initially involve just being a reliable, solid, competent 'body' to move stuff around, but they also get you back into circulation and if you're solid and reliable, you'll always be in work.

Just a couple of ideas, but whatever you do, don't think you're stupid, don't think you're unemployable, switch your mindset and get your fire and determination back - you could surprise yourself and all those doubters just by not giving up!

Excellent advice above. Also look for part-time work and don't restrict yourself to full-time applications. From acorns do mighty oaks grow.
