I don't think I'd survive!
Can anyone remember when things start to get a bit better and into a routine of sorts? I can't remember from when DS was a baby..is it something like 3 months?Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
It's supposed to be around 10 weeks when they get into a routine but it can be earlier and it can be later. Have you tried any colic relief medicines? I recommend dentinox colic drops. Good luck though, I've been there. I had a newborn and a 13 month old. xx: DD1 23/11/09

I tried Infacol but didn't like the strong smell of it and didn't actually think it helped much anyway.
I saw a MW yesterday who said from 4 weeks you can use gripe water, so was thinking of giving that a try.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Hi mv, I can recommend the gripe water, its good for bringing up wind. It does smell weird tho and i was worried he wouldnt take the bottle with it mixed in but he did. we use infacol and it seems to work ok but not all the time. Our witching hour/s seem to be getting a bit less now at 10weeks, I told myself in the early days it wouldnt last forever!Mum of 2 :j0

DS is 2 and 8 months and DD is 1, so almost the same age gap as yours. Fortunately both slept well and were sleeping through the night consistently by 12 weeks. I found waking my son up early in the morning and then juggling my daughters feeds so that one coincided with his lunchtime, meant that they both have an afternoon nap at the same time - normally both asleep by 1 o'clock and down for two hours. A couple of hours on the sofa was just enough to recharge for the rest of the day.0

Have you tried lying her on her front over your lap and massaging her back when she starts to rev up?
It was the only thing that worked with one of mine, but he was a front sleeper anyway, he screamed the house down if I tried to lay him on his back to sleep.
Or running up and down stairs with her upright, that worked with my DD. A few times up and down and she'd be burping like a docker.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Congrats MV :j
You've already been offered the advice I would have given but just wanted to congratulate you

I did survive, thanks DFV!!
Now just to get through the night in tact!
Peachy - OH has tried lying her on her front. she seems to quieten down a bit but it isn't long before she's squirming again. It's so annoying as even when I do manage to get wind out of her, it doesn't seem to relieve her discomfort. I guess we'll just have to ride it out. I've heard about the going up and down stairs thing. Will give that a go..should help burn off a few calories too!
Thank you delain x Hope all is well with you and your girls?
