Went to mine today.

There were only 6 of us, I was late but they had only just started by the time I arrived.

I ate 2plates, so did everyone else, had loads to drink, the goodie bag contained a bar of Peruvian chocolate, mushrooms, pasta and blue cheese.

I also took home 2 slices of red velvet cake, a bar of swiss chocolate and a few pieces of chocolate and some of the small cheese biscuits, in fact everyone took stuff home, there was tons of stuff. Was a good night, we all sat around a table eating and having a chat.

Mine was tonight too- about all the people turned up, last time some people were really greedy with heaped up plates- this time it was handed out to us, which was better, lots to eat, drink. Goodie bag not as generous as the bread evening, but still a few tasty things- Wensleydale with blueberries, pasta, posh mushrooms, chocolate, recipes and a canvas bag

So frustrated that I can't attend one of these evenings due to lack of places locally. I can't even seem to manage to get on the mailing list for future evenings, I used the contact us form on the Food Evenings site as they suggested and got an email back stating sorry we do not deal with Food Evening requests from this office!

Just phoned up the store that does these for my area and they have taken my details to add, so for anyone who is having problems getting on the mailing list for advance warning of evenings it may be worth you doing this.

Don't forget to bring your club. Card, they ask for it on the questionairre at the end, mi also had receipe cards and a magazine in my bag.

Just goes to show that if you keep checking and are lucky somebody might cancel. I got tickets for tonights Food evening this morning for tonight after checking a couple of times every day.
