Lovely evening, I tried the Pomegranate, Raspberry and Cranberry drink and hubby tried the Finest Grenache Red wine although we could have tried more as others went back to try others. OMG I had never tried a blue cheese before, I somehow thought they would smell moldy, but the Wensleydale blue was lovely and the dips and chutneys. Loved the biscuits the cheese was served on and the guyere twists, Mmmmmmm!
The snap of the Ecuadorian chocolate and the taste of the strawberry and white chocolate cake(They had to substitute this for the Red Velvet cake as they can't get enough of the Red Velvet cake for the demand at the moment), I can see why the range costs more it is very, very good and the bloke giving our presentation really cared about the range.
My Nice Black canvas bag contained the Wensleydale cranberry and Blueberry cheese, Wild Mushrooms, Spaghetti and 74% Equardorian chocolate, Finest Brochure and recipe cards. Hubby's had exactly the same in it.
Very impressed x
Oh Yes, and 6 people didn't turn up although one did phone to say they were ill."Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Same here although it only lasted less than an hour. We only received one goodybag though and not one each like you guys. I quiet enjoyed it and will be going for more in the future if I can
just to mention, most of the people were 55+, the rest 40+, we were the only young couple there, felt a bit uncomfortable at first

Went to ours last night. It was pretty rushed at about an hour, but we had loads of food. No wine, but three fizzy soft drinks which were nice. Ham, cheese, olives, crisps, cheese twists and oaty bites. A choice of three cookies and three cakes with tea/coffee, then as the store had recently had a makeover and a new pizza/salad bar they brought a selection from there. Very impressed by the quality of the range. The pizza and cous cous about finished me off at the end.
Goody bags had pasta, jar of curry sauce, chocolate bar and cheese, OH's had no cheese!0 -

I noticed as well that the average age on my "finest" evening was higher then the previous "bread & pastries". It is probable that the personal invites by post/email sent out by Tesco where targetted at a higher age group. Are older people more likely to shop in the finest range compared to young people/families ?0 -

Could be true. I think an idea of this is fantastic - I wouldn't normally go and buy some of the products for this price not knowing how they taste - would be too afraid I won't like them and my money has been wasted. However after the tasting session there was a few products that I'll probably buy sometimes
