    Do this in normal mode. If you cant, do it in safe mode

    Now using the infected computer.

    Copy FRST to the desktop of the infected computer from the USB stick.
    • Click Start
    • Type notepad in the search programs and files box and click Enter.
    • A blank Notepad page should open.
      • Copy/Paste all of the contents of the code box below into Notepad. Do not include Code:
      S2 *etadpug; "C:\Program Files\Google\Desktop\Install\{f5bcd340-d062-07d2-560a-ffd3597a14f2}\   \...\???\{f5bcd340-d062-07d2-560a-ffd3597a14f2}\GoogleUpdate.exe" < <==== ATTENTION (ZeroAccess)
      C:\Program Files\Google\Desktop\Install\{f5bcd340-d062-07d2-560a-ffd3597a14f2}
      C:\Users\Rose\AppData\Local\Google\Desktop\Install\{f5bcd340-d062-07d2-560a-ffd3597a14f2}

      • Save it as fixlist.txt and save to your desktop

    It's important both FRST & Fixlist.txt are on the Desktop.
    • Right-click FRST & choose "Run as administrator" to run it.
    • When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
    • Press the Fix button once and wait.
    • FRST will process fixlist.txt
    • When finished, it will produce a log fixlog.txt on your desktop. Post the contents.

    If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.

    I presume all of this is on infected pc, none on mine?

    when I plug stick in infected one in normal, it doesn,t open up as autoplay, as does on mine, so cannot locate anything on it?
    Gonna try safemode
    is it just safemode. or with network?
    I will need network to copy/paste the latest text, unless I do it on mine first?
    perhaps tomorrow would be better if you don,t mind waddler. as I think I may !!!! it up. tonight.

    Hi waddlers, sorry had to bow out last night.
    Having similar problems today saving last copy as text.
    It is saving it again as a shortcut, no matter what I do.
    I,m using 2 sticks now, as original, is not being recognised in comp, but second is, Put frst from it to desktop, seems ok, BUT, cannot transfer new fixlist as text, even by doing it on MY own pc, putting it on new stick, it always saves it as shortcut, which cannot be found as text by frst on desktop?
    It was only luck last night I did it, don,t know why.as you know, it was saving as shortcut?
    When I copy new on infected, it auto sticks Shortcut icon on it.??
    Not having much luck so far today.keeping trying;;
    got them many frsts on pc, don,t know which is which, and keep changing fixlist to last one?
    Just I haven,t cross ifected mine, as I have updated 3 windows updates 5 times, and they are still showing in new updates????even though they are showing successfully done in log//, and a few glitches.Using stick with daughters back up on now????
