You should have save the file fixlist.txt to your USB flashdrive e: - can you see this file?

    Rename it to fixlist

You may have named it fixlist.txt which then saves as a .txt file, giving you:

    fixlist.txt.txt

when I open stick up, it,s there under fixlist.not fixlist . txt
as a shortcut 1kb, and I can open it and view the text you asked me to copy,
update;;;no matter what I do, fix just tells me fixlist not found, has to be same source.the logs from before are still on it??
on my pc D is dvd rw, f is removable. and in computer infected, there are 2 choices, d or f. I choose f,
d or e also dont work, only f takes me to fix? then says fixlist not found

Sorry waddler I don,t know why it says cannot find it, it,s there.
Will keep trying and post it if I can, but, god knows why it,s not working, doing same as before,no disclaimer,s come up this session at all. ?.
    sorry mate

    as a shortcut 1kb
I think that's the problem. It needs to be the actual file, not a shortcut.

I,m locating files as fixlist in search, and dragging it to stick, same as before, don,t know why it,s stating it as a shortcut under type???, but the text file is all there when I click on the shortcut

If need be just redo it and ensure you save it to the flashdrive when saving. Make sure you delete the shortcut.

done that umpteen times, but it always puts it on stick as shortcut under type.
it,s not shortcut before I drag it over, it,s under files?
the frst ones are text, so don,t know why this is different, doing same procedure

Delete the files, recreate the file and instead of dragging it to the stick actually save it to the stick when the save as dialogue box opens.
