par boil if i can be bothered, whichever way, put the oven tray on the gas with hot oil, cook them in oil that way for a min, sprinkle solt peper and assorted herbs and in the oven they goYes Your Dukeiness

I never par boil, just chuck 'em in a bowl with olive oil, the add flavouring (I use lemon juice and thyme) then put them in the oven for about 20 - 30 mins.
I do the same as you but I use Cajun seasoning instead. Swartz do a jar of it for £1.48 which is much cheaper than thier wedges seasoning sachets.

I don`t parboil either. I make these a lot because they are quick easy and tasty. I quarter the potatoes and cut each slice into a wedge,add some oil some paprika and sometimes some herbs. I make sure they are well coated and cook for about 45 mins on Mk 6.0

sometimes i parboil, or sometimes i put in the microwave for a few minutes before baking that seems to work too! any seasoning you like will be good!Member 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4

Never parboil them, they don't need it, I also use olive oil and salt and cracked pepper.slurps!0

I don't bother to parboil them. Don't see why you shouldn't use BBQ seasoning on them, I will have to give it a try (usually only use salt and pepper)0

I don't parboil mine. Just a light coating of olive oil and a dusting of paprika (for added flavour:D )
