    I'm guessing:

    3xTSB => 15K
    3xLloyds => 15K
    3xBOS => 15K
    2xSantander => 40K

    Thats only 85K.

    Nationwide - all the Regular savers - SIPP - ISA Limits - Innovate has more than £85k for sure :D

    Did an online application for the TSB Enhance today. The process promises a welcome pack and account numbers 'within 7 working days'. Shoulda read this thread first, eh ?

    Btw all the TnC links are dead (in the application process and main site). Anyone know any live ones ?

    Popping into a TSB branch to open the Enhance(s) definitely seems the way to go. Like Archi Bald's friend, I had 3 Enhance accounts and online banking access done within 15 minutes this morning in what used to be a C&G branch but is now completely rebranded. The chap who processed my application said they hadn't had lots of people come in to apply yet but he knew what he was doing and wasn't trying to sell me stuff I hadn't asked for.

    I am printing as fast as I can. What's good enough for Mark Carney is good enough for me :D

    They have not has a lot of people in because of the way the account is shown on the Website - it is not next to the Bank Accounts

    That's because Enhance isn't an account; it's an extra that you add on to your account once it's open. On the current account page it clearly says "Earn 3.00% AER/ 2.96% GROSS variable on balances of £3,000 to £5,000 by adding Enhance to your account."

    Thanks for setting me straight
  • Update from my mate who opened his 3 Enhance accounts in branch last Thursday: he got his debit cards yesterday, and the PIN codes this morning. He's well pleased.

    In stark contrast, I have not heard a thing yet in response to my online application from last Monday! I'll go into a branch now and try my luck there.

    All done - got my account and online banking access in branch. They said my other account from the online application will be set up in due course, and I might get another online userid.

    Also got soaking wet, the weather is atrocious, lol.
  • Thanks for that heads up so my application will be set up in due course and I might get an online user id. No branches in easy reach for me so I will wait and see.
